GUILTY CA - Madyson Middleton, 8, Santa Cruz, 26 July 2015 - #3 *Arrest*

Here's a story from Nov 2014 about the threat made to Santa Cruz High School.

http://www.mercurynews.com/crime-courts/ci_27018051/school-threat-investigation-continues-santa-cruz

While Santa Cruz police seized computer equipment, tracked leads and interviewed two "persons of interest" in a mass-shooting threat case at Santa Cruz High School, a person who claims to have sent the email to the principal continued his conversation with the Sentinel and police.

His emails ranged from wanting to play chess online to saying his friends wouldn't snitch to cocky explanations about why he wouldn't get caught.

"Even if they raid my house, my computers encrypted to the max. they wouldnt get anything," he wrote about 3:15 p.m. Friday.

I'm sorry this young man had such a hard life that he contemplated/threatened suicide (if he did.) I'm sorrier that he didn't actually do it if his alternative was to lure, torture, rape and kill a little girl who thought he was to be trusted and then threw her away like trash.

Perhaps that makes me a bad person. If so, I'm comfortable being one.

But the news story isn't clear about who sent the threat and message. We honestly don't know for sure if AJG is the one who threatened the school or sent a message to the newspaper. Both were sent anonymously, and at this point we don't know what LE knew then. A phrase AJG used on his Instagram was used in the message to the newspaper, so they are now investigating whether there is a connection. But we haven't been told whether, at the time, there was a way to connect either of these messages to AJG, or anyone else. So, it doesn't appear that anyone dropped the ball, at least in connection with AJG. If it turns out out that it was AJG sending these messages, that's a different matter for sure. JMO

The person who contacted the Sentinel expressed some remorse.

“I’m sorry for scaring everybody,” he wrote in an email. “I need to grow up.”

In a span of four hours Thursday, the student had exchanged more than 100 messages with the Sentinel.

Did they find her scooter in the dumpster as well? I just don't recall hearing anything about them finding it.

  • #265
I think the scooter is a large part of the evidence they have against GONZALEZ. I will name him every time instead of just his initials. Adrian Jere Gonzalez is an evil killer who should be named and remembered IMO.

That scooter is somewhere and that we do not know tells me that that evidence is very important. Maybe it was also in the dumpster, but I doubt that. Maybe it was outside his apartment or inside. He was playing with searchers and police.

He wanted the reaction and did not try to hide his actions. He knew he was on video.

I think he was so bold as to hold on to trophies including little Maddy's scooter.

Opposite of me. i will never name him and hope his name is forgotten. Madyson Middleton, that is the name to remember.

  • #267
I won't name him because that is exactly what he wants. He wants to be 'remembered', to be named and get the credit for his evil ways. I refuse to grant him any of that. He is a 🤬🤬🤬, and that is all, IMO.

Delusions of grandeur, I see.

Appreciate your opinions, as everyone's, always. and I agree that right now his narcissism and evil mind needs the attention. What he wants or needs is of no consequence to me. I won't hide his name or forget him until he is sentenced, because I want people to know who killed little Madyson. I will expose him as the killer that he is.

I will hope for an L-WOP. After that I will bury his memory while he rots. Just my Opinion.

Yes I am of 2 camps, but for now I just feel that Adrian Jere Gonzalez is an evil killer of little girls just like ARS who killed little Jessica Ridgeway. In that case it is Jessica and her suffering that I remember.

It will always be so with Maddy in my mind and in my heart.

Seems like Santa Cruz High has discovered who sent the threat (supposedly they apologized). If it wasn't Adrian Gonzalez ( My preference is not to use initials- too confusing), then couldn't the school issue a statement to that effect without naming an uninvolved person???

seems a stretch, someone made threats to the HS the perp attended and perp once posted something on social media like "something big will happen in HS". Anything else tying these two topics together?

I know it gets hard to find something new to discuss when essentially nothing new is happening/being released. But unless someone can connect the two with more than speculation it probably does not belong in the discussion.

Ticya, the connection was made in MSM because of wording he used on Instagram that was also used in communication with the paper last fall about "crippling anxiety." The reporter was putting it together. Personally, I thought it was a big stretch, but MSM is where it came from. Linked up the thread. :)

has the reporter/news org or LE every been able to determine if the person who made the threat to the HS was the same individual who claimed credit and was in communication with the Sentinel about the threat?

Crippling Anxiety. Not a common phrase exactly but not an unheard of one either.

Interesting angle I was not aware of. Bringing forward the link.

A day after the threat, someone anonymously reached out to the Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper claiming responsibility but said he was not “homicidal, just a thrill seeker”. That person also said he was wracked with guilt and had “crippling anxiety.”

That is the same phrase the teenager used on his Instagram page.

You'd think so. Or maybe the original MSM "reporter" who got all this started should issue a retraction! It was a real stretch to begin with to tie the phrase about anxiety to AJG in the first place. In two separate posts I retracted my speculation tying that story in with his comment "something big will happen in highschool" when posters pointed out that he probably said it in middle school. It would be nice if reporters would do the same. JMO :)

No, I don't think they yet know if the person who phoned in the threat is the student who e-mailed the Sentinel. Here's more on the e-mails.

http://venturebeat.com/2014/11/24/s...udding-terrorists-should-avoid-using-yik-yak/

The alleged Santa Cruz threatener told a reporter at the Santa Cruz Sentinel that he used the Tor browser to email his threat to the school last Tuesday night.

The Tor browser is well loved by many in the security community, because it will not give up the IP address of the user. In fact, the browser runs all Web requests through a number of other servers to mask the original sender.

The alleged phone-threatener from the Santa Cruz high school says he used Guerrilla Mail to send email to the school as well as the Sentinel reporter. Guerrilla Mail provides users with a disposable email address. It doesn’t require users to register or log in; you just go to the site and start sending emails from non-trackable email accounts.

If it's a minor, that could be tricky for them. The two major papers here essentially won't ever name a minor in any kind of investigation. It's possible that they have also been instructed by LE at the time of the investigation, to not name the suspect.

I saw that notice. Is there an addiction connection with Madyson's case that we don't know about?

Not that I am aware of. I suspect he will be offering his thoughts on the accused as a profiler.
