I personally think they should at least test Andrea Hall, if they have DNA.
I agree, there is a man to the right of the easel leg in the photo sitting off in a distance., with a mustache and sunglasses or glasses. The red pants with the stripe (sweat suit) behind her and a matching red jacket. Then it looks to me as if he has a black cape, scarf or throw on him. Could it be a photo from a theme park or something? or a Harley rally or outdoor festival?Right above her shoulder appears to be a man with a mustache and sunglasses, he has something white on his head. I see a man with dark hair wearing a red and black jacket, the jacket appears to be billowing in the wind. You can make out his ear and neck. He is also wearing red pants. Could the other be an art easel?

Could it be a photo from a theme park or something? or a Harley rally or outdoor festival? That black mark on her shoulder is in the photo when I zoom it.Right above her shoulder appears to be a man with a mustache and sunglasses, he has something white on his head. It should be mentioned that Malibu Canyon is a very popular route for bikers out for a weekend-ride.
There is a place called the Rock Store on Mulholland Highway, not far from where this Jane Doe was found.
The Rock Store is a popular location where bikers park and show off their bikes and socialize.
Possibly Khymbrly Scruggs? Charley Project: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/scruggs_khymbrly.html and NamUs profiles: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/6984/0/. She was last seen in Sacramento (a good 400 miles away) on 12 January 1980. At the time she was 19, had brown hair and eyes, and was 5'6" tall and weighed 115 pounds. It is strongly believed that she was murdered but her body has never been found. Side-by-sides of KS and Malibu Jane Doe (center):View attachment 123598View attachment 123599View attachment 123600.
Apparently Khymberly's disappearance was not discovered for 1-2 days after she was last seen/heard from because her roommate was away at the time, which could give someone plenty of time to cover the long distance to Malibu from Sacramento. There is a suspect in her case who denied any involvement and was never charged due to lack of evidence, but was later sent to prison for an unrelated rape. It would be difficult to compare the two because the only identifier Khymberly has available is DNA and Malibu Jane Doe does not have DNA available.

It says "insufficient DNA for profiling," which often means they do have a sample, but not the 13-loci STR profile you need for the automatic testing. It's possible that they could compare by hand and get a ruleout. They couldn't get a definitive match, but it would be a clue to further investigation.
They look very similar! The height is off, but there’s little info about Lisa available so I can imagine there’s some room for error. I’d submit this one! Great find, Lisa’s also fairly new to be published on NamUs so may not have come up on anyone’s radar yet.The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Lisa Rene Sprague appeared on my NAMUS for another search and she reminded me of this doe visually.![]()
