Super random observation..... Why does the CA State/Office of Attorney General have her listed as a missing person, but the LAPD does Not..? :thinking:

So, I talked to the PI and this case needs him. He's phenomenal and I haven't been following the Toni Anderson case but what he told me....wow.
I also went back and started calling the businesses. The big building on the corner where the guy was so nice when I talked to him last Saturday...said come Monday morning and we will do whatever it takes...he said Dad never came by Which probably means Dad didn't go anywhere. UGH. That footage was important because cameras overlook the entire intersection. Unfortunately it is long gone as they erase every 72 hours. I'm waiting on call backs from Jons and the Science Academy, couldn't reach anyone at the nursing school and the Reliable Networking that has cameras facing the Kaiser parking lot (also valuable I would think), their number is disconnected. I can't get down there in person today so not sure what to do. They are closed on weekends.
I'm thinking the cameras are not going to help. Most businesses have probably erased the footage by now. LAPD really dropped the ball, imo, they should have looked at ALL that before they labeled her voluntary.
I'm pretty discouraged right now.
I'm waiting on the lieutenant to call me back and I'm going to call the recycling company soon and find out what/how we get that trash.

Was catching up on the fb page earlier, the lack of shares on posts is so disheartening Is anyone twitter savvy? What about reddit etc?

Sooooo I am not, but for the first time in years I tried Twitter..... I also subbed something to the LA Times online pleading for them to help market the page.... My next 'to do' was going to search for local LA County FB Community groups and reach out asking them to share or allow me to join so I can share..... Trying to chase all of these potential ideas while working :scared:

Ok, that is a great map. Can I share it on FB? N yes, we are way, way down in likes and shares. I don't know what happened. The first NG episode got a huge response, the next one, almost nothing. Probably because there is no new info. I'm really hoping they update her to critical or endangered missing. I'm at the end of my rope.
I am completely not map savvy. I see the legend but where exactly on the map is the river/wash. Maybe with a huge red arrow lol

Re. the phone being located where the dogs tracked Maricela's scent, I copied the route from Mistivon's post #320. I do recall Mistivon stating on a later post that the dogs did pick up her scent by the phone too, but I am not sure how it works into the route or if the dogs didn't walk there on her route but when by the dumpster they indicated her scent? Mistivon can you help me fill in that blank? Thanks!

This is where the dumpsters contents where taken. The person I spoke to is named Ramon . He said right now it looks like the dumpsters haven't been picked up since the 11th but he will look into it further and call back. I explained the situation.

Ramon now knows everything we know Here and is willing to help in any way possible and says he hopes they can help provide any information needed.

I have a meeting at 2pm until 430pm and told them that I would do my best to answer anyway. If I hear back from a supervisor, I'll post here immediately. Otherwise I'll check back after my meeting.

In the mean time-
Maybe we can get a fact sheet going so we can individually have reference to all the facts in this case. We could make up our own flyers with those facts and pass them around directly ( for those in that area) or digitally.
We can use the information we do have to start sending mass emails out.
If someone could please post any information about the officials in that area, I'll be glad to start sending out emails and copying the letter from her mother.
Maybe if we make a big enough stink, someone will listen.

It's 9pm here on the east coast right now, I never heard from a supervisor at the dumpster management company so I'm going to assume the info Ramon gave me is accurate. ( I think he would've called back by now if he thought anything we discussed was not accurate by this time. He seemed genuinely concerned and seemed more then willing to help)

Tomorrow we need to organize more calls and emails. Maybe we should start a separate thread where people can post numbers and emails and others can reply that they've contacted that agency.
