TWO homes were searched. One in Red Bluff and another in Gerber. Did he bring her there? Her body was found near the school. Was she dumped there AFTER the search because he KNEW they had already searched the area? Who's in Gerber?

Red Bluff police search a garage behind a house Saturday on Second Street near Park Avenue for evidence related to the death of Red Bluff teen Marysa Nichols.

Earlier Saturday, Red Bluff police collected evidence from two homes — one in Red Bluff and the other in Gerber, Nanfito said.

I am seeing an address on Central Ave in Gerber associated with this man. Wonder if it is where his ex resides?

the gerber address seems pretty out in the sticks as we say, country, not a lot of other houses in close proximity.

Wonder what Mr. Bealer drives.

Seems most of his charges are drug related. Maybe he robbed her? Maybe his daughter knew her and said ' oh wow my friend just got a brand new x y or z electronic device that's worth 500 ' and he wanted it? Or maybe she saw him using/buying/selling drugs and he was afraid she would tell? It's very curious to kill a young lady with OUT assulting her, so until we know that , I would go with a theft of some kind so he could buy drugs. Did he have a job?

ETA don't forget his daughter in your prayers. I bet her social circle is really on fire about this and it's probably super challenging for her . Do we know if they were friends at all?

I think his family lives in Gerber, JMO. Based on the white pages listings and fb stuff. Same first and last name as a relative.

LOL, I agree with you about the music not really saying much. It's definitely his profile though, it's listed under his email address and that's one of his user names. I more or less added it so I wouldn't forget that username.

I admit, so far motive is a huge head scratcher.

Second street is still pretty close to the school, I was showing an address on Douglass, literally on the border of the school grounds--maybe that is an old listing.

questions I have right now post arrest

I want to know time of death. With the suspect's residence in close proximity to school it makes me wonder if the reason her body was not found during the first three searches of the creek area was because it wasn't there yet.

I also want to know if she was raped. Trying to wrap my head around motive here.

Lastly I want to know if he had a child attending Marysa' school and if so did Marysa know the child.

It still seems unusual to me that the area she was found was searched so many times over the course of several days, by different LEOs and she wasn't found til she was.

He has a daughter at that high school. I don't want to name her but she goes there.

Was Marysa in 9th grade? If so, then I truly believe he knew the victim via his daughter.

They are both in 9th grade. The high school has a newsletter that is published fairly often online.

So from what I am understanding, it appears the Educational Outreach Program is based at the high school but is a separate program that is meant to be a magnet, or charter program which is sort of a mash up of home schooling and school setting.

I believe the students study at home but also meet with teacher at the school once or twice a week. Am I correct in this understanding?
