GUILTY CA - Matthew Muller for kidnap, rape of 30yo woman, Vallejo, 2015

He talked a lot here. The uncle phoned the media, CBS, and gave them a lengthy interview yesterday:
EXCLUSIVE: DH’s Uncle Blasts Police Handling Of Alleged Kidnapping Hoax
http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2015...s-police-handling-of-alleged-kidnapping-hoax/

He claims he's an attorney, but not the attorney hired for the case. Very confident, opinionated, take-charge. Also claiming that we're in for a truth that is "one of the most tragic stories you're ever going to hear."

Or, one of the most elaborate Plan B bs stories, in the history of bs.

Aaron Quinn's attorney: "my client was subjected to "blatant lies", he had nothing to do with a hoax and cooperated with police from the start of the investigation.

______

Lawyered up:

Quinn's attorneys: Amy Morton and Daniel Russo of Morton & Russo LLP of Vallejo, “As long standing members of the Vallejo community, the law firm of Morton & Russo will set the record straight that Mr. Quinn is not involved in any form of a “hoax,” and that there should continue to be concern until law enforcement has finalized a full and thorough investigation leading to the arrest and conviction of those personally responsible.”

DH's attorneys: Vallejo police confirmed that DH has also hired an attorney, Douglas Rappaport based out of San Francisco.

such a disgusting waste of police and public time and resources. absolutely NO valid reason that she'd be avoiding police, FBI, etc. if it wasn't a hoax. seriously.

Aaron Quinn's two attorneys told the media in a news conference Quinn was "bound up and drugged" and that's why it took him nearly 7 hours to report the abduction to police.

The attorney said there were at least two kidnappers who gave Quinn something to drink. They told him the drink was drugged.

Quinn's attorneys said he has given investigators all the information he could give them.

"They spent 17 hours interrogating him," Quinn's attorney said. "He consented to DNA. He consented to a blood draw."

If it was such a terrible ordeal, why are they not telling LE what the issue was?! Are they still in danger?

So IS he the BF or was she his tenant or both?

This stinks like a trash strike.

they still trying to get innocent people hemmed up with this fake kidnapping claim?? I have a special kind of disdain for people like this.

No mention of submitting to a polygraph.

Now the family probably will sue and get their ransom money from the Vallejo police. I'm so disgusted.

wait, where was it reported the family paid the ransom?

Quinn was prepared to pay the ransom by the kidnappers’ deadline of noon Wednesday, but DH was reported safe by then, his attorney said.

Police questioned Quinn for 17 hours. He has not been in contact with DH and is staying with family.

Quinn's attorneys indicated the $8,500 Ransom may have been part of a payment plan, and not the final amount.

In 2005, DH pleaded guilty in Orange County to misdemeanor driving with a blood-alcohol content over the legal limit. Her sentence included three years’ probation and a first offenders’ alcohol program, online court records show.

She obtained a physical therapist’s license in Massachusetts after studying at Long Island University in Brooklyn, according state online records. The license expired in 2014.

No complaints were lodged against her, said Jayda Leder-Luis, a licensing division spokeswoman.

In California, DH was licensed as a physical therapist in October 2013, according to the state’s physical therapy board.

Quinn also is a physical therapist licensed in California.

Yup, just like so many of us expected. It was all a ruse. Never happened. No kidnapper gives their kidnappee a ride home to their mother's house, then let's them go to walk to their father's house. The whole thing was hokey.

I hope charges are filed for making a false police report and a whole bunch of other stuff. We have so many missing people listed here that doesn't have the resources looking for them they way they were looking for DH. And that's a shame cuz DH and her bf wasted resources, time, money, manpower, you name it. I hope like the Runaway Bridge, they are forced to pay restitution for all this, AND they get jail time. AND they lose their jobs. Worthless people. (Sorry, I'm mad.)

Hmm. Whatever happened to the "Runaway Bride" after the movie was made?

This is one of those fun cases where you can make a bunch of snide comments because nothing bad happened to anybody.
