Easily could have been something in the garage that was used, I didn't think about that aspect. My line of thing about it was using what was closest at hand and that's normally kitchen knives

I would think that could be the original weapon depending on the circumstances. Or, if premeditated could have been something else. We just don't know yet when the murders occurred or what the circumstances were around them. So very sad.

Maybe he was truly proud of being a husband and a father. Maybe he wanted to make sure that prospective clients knew he was a family man.
And then things happened... Something horribly bad.

I bet he was proud of being a husband and father. But he wasn't a good one. No matter how kind he was prior to the 'incident' he was a tragic failure as a Dad.

Tuesday, Dec. 8th:
*Initial Appearance Hearing (@ 8:30am PT) - CA – 12 year boy & 13 year girl (Dec. 4, 2020, Lancaster, found decapitated) - *Maurice Taylor, Sr. (34) father arrested (12/4/20) on suspicion of murder & held in lieu of $2M bond.
Detectives have learned that L.A. County Fire Personnel received a call at the location regarding a possible gas leak. Fire personnel responded & made entry into the location, at which time they saw a male & a female deceased inside the location. Fire personnel immediately called L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. Lancaster Station deputies, which responded & secured the location. Detectives have learned that the deceased male & female both appeared to be suffering from lacerations & stab wounds. At the location there was also one male & one female adult, along with two other children who are currently being questioned by Homicide Investigators.

The "possible gas leak" was reported by CLIENTS who hadn't heard from him. Not neighbors (who would have smelled it.)
This begs the questions
1.) Was it a ruse to get an urgent "wellnes check"? Fire/Police must respond urgently to a potential gas leak.
2.) Was the threat of a gas leak real? Was the elecrticiy shutoff, or had the PT made comments about poisoning his family?

I am thinking carbon monoxide leak as more of a specific gas. Regular gas leak smells likes rotten eggs so the neighbors would smell that.. I think friends and coworkers were thinking Carbon Monoxide bc it has no smell. IMO

I think it was more that they had no contact with him and he has skipped Zoom meetings. There was a call a few days before from a different client as well

I imagine some of his neighbors may have also been clients. In one of the first articles posted, there is a video with a neighbor who says they could smell a horrible odor in the neighborhood.
