Just goes to show you what kind of a guy he is.

So much I want to say but can’t. I think I’m supposed to be victim friendly.

What I will say is that there is a huge amount of control being bandied about right now. Doesn’t care his guns were taken, goes and buys more. Won’t tell LE who he gave guns to. It’s a “you can’t make me” and I don’t care deal.

Witholding communication with Maya’s family and keeping the children away is controlling and cruel but it’s also self serving. The kids know stuff.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, that house is a powder keg and it’s ready to blow.

The children MUST be removed NOW!

What's LM's game plan?

He knows they suspect him. Although LE hasn't named him as a POI he knows he is. We all know he is!

Why buy more guns after your guns were taken away? Why would you do that? It flies in the face of LE and now they suspect you even more. If you were trying to lay low, you just upped the ante. Why did you need to go out and buy more guns?

Is it because he wants to do it all his way? Is he going to take a stand? Is it going to be a shoot 'em up when they eventually come to get him? People asked why LE arrived in tactical gear...well, now you know. The guy is dangerous and loaded for bear with guns. Dangerous and worrisome enough that the tactical squad came along to deliver a search warrant.

Is he hiding in his house? Anybody seen him recently? Is he going to work? Has he left the kids in the care of his parents and he's hiding at someone's home?

Guys, this will be ending fairly soon. I just hope in ends, with Larry in jail, and the children safe. He will not confess and he won't tell where Maya is located.

I wonder if he's even at home these days. I'm guessing he is to some extent, since more guns were removed on this last search warrant.

  • #826
These recent developments have me seriously worried about what he might do next.

fgs, who needs 22 firearms in an upscale bedroom community in southern CA ? Can't this man be arrested and held for his stash of illegal weapons while the investigation continues, and have authorities get those children away from this dangerous unhinged man?
Fearing he's going to do something horrible when cornered.

Whoa! He purchased guns after guns were taken away?

Yikes.

You can listen to that info in this news report, too, posted earlier this morning by @margarita25.

18 of his 22 firearms are unaccounted for. He bought 2 glocks AFTER the first freaking search warrant.

What's it gonna take?!?! GET THE KIDS OUT TODAY, PLEASE!

  • #829
Absolutely. “Powder keg” as phrased above is spot on.
I can’t believe how many guns he has had possession of (and the types!) red flags. What’s worse though is his disrespect of LE authority during all of this adds a whole other layer of his mental state/ self “protecting” mindset
GET THE KIDS OUT !!!

This will likely unravel quickly I believe and I hope to god for no additional bloodshed. All moo

Horrible thought....possibility he could use his kids as hostages when cornered.

That's what the article said, yes. They initially removed 3 guns on the 1/23 search of the home, 2 registered handguns and an unregistered AR-15 I believe. Linking 2 articles here that have more detail. It appears the GVRO was prompted by the purchase of more guns after they took the first few.... :/

LE also mentions a picture of firearms that was attached to the restraining order.

Here's a screen shot of the weapons LE was trying to locate:

Here's a screen shot of unregistered guns seized:

Thank you for the clarification.

I do not believe that LM violated the GVRO because it was just recently issued. The important point is that the guns seized in January were pursuant to a SW (gunshots audio?) not a GVRO. LM purchased more guns, probably legally at a store, and there was nothing prohibiting him from doing so. But LE has concerns about the missing guns, unregistered guns, and illegal model guns, that LM owns. This is why they were able to obtain the GVRO that led to the most recent SW execution last week.

LE really cannot remove guns or children for "pre-crime" or public worrying. I wish they would arrest him on the illegal guns, but I am sure that is probably just a pay the bail revolving door. LM has no violent or criminal history at all.

Ah-ha moment: the Border Patrol dog was not a cadaver dog then but more likely a guns, gunpowder, ammunition dog?

All JMO.

I posted that last week. That dog was looking for guns, ammunition and possibly undetected spent shells.

Larry is toast.

From what I could gather (am local and stayed up all Friday night watching the coverage and in a Zoom call with some of the Search Warriors team), the GVRO was requested by LE because they found out he had purchased 2 more handguns after they took his few guns away in January. The fact that they took an unregistered/illegal gun from him in January but still couldn't arrest is UGH. Wondering if somehow his name was flagged in the system and they got notified when background was ran for the new purchase? The fact that he told LE he knew they would come for his guns so he gave them away.... I just can't with this guy. Get those kids to Maya's family please. :(

Not confirmed by any mainstream media so I don't think I can share, but the search warriors have a LOT of intel on Larry as they apparently keep very close tabs and know people who know him, work with him, etc. But what they shared about that evening was very upsetting to hear. :(
He bought two more glocks after first search warrant.

I keep typing and backspacing. That's a lot of guns for even someone like me that has a lot. Some people do collect them for a hobby. Unbelievable that he bought more after the others were taken.

That’s what made me sit up and go “wait a minute”. He bought more guns after his guns were taken away.

Why would he do that? Not one gun, but two?

What am I missing?

Holy cats, that news about the guns is frightening. And if he just gave them to friends/family, what's to say they won't give them back to him?
If he just gave guns away to friends then that is illegal in California. You can only do paperless transfers between immediate family as long as the person is not prohibited from owning or carrying a gun. So if it's a cousin or an uncle, he would still have to go through the standard procedure of firearm transfer through a firearm dealer (i.e. background check, verifying firearm safety certificate, waiting period, etc). If I'm not mistaken, in California, you're only allowed to purchase one firearm per 30 days and no matter who takes possession of the gun, they will need to have the gun safety certificate. Perhaps this was all part of the reason for the restraining order.

Considering he had a bunch of unregistered guns, I don't think the legal procedure for transfers is high on his list. He refused to tell LE who had the guns he gave away.

If that's the case, I'm surprised they didn't arrest him, and that they waited so long to get the restraining order.

So many guns and a definite defiance coming from LM. My anxiety level is way up there and I know everyone on this thread is worried sick for those children. I'm even worried for the neighbors now. What the heck is LE waiting for to arrest? I'm reminding myself and all of us that there are several LE agencies working together on this case. They must know what they're doing???????? But do they???
