I'm confused. She was reported missing 10/2025, didn't we see the both of them on CCTV at a car rental place after that? How could she have been deceased before she was reported missing?

Either there's some timeline mistakes in the reporting or the girl in the CCTV footage wasn't Melodee.

I think ABC messed up, she was found 2 months after she was reported missing.
Props to LE for keeping this under wraps for so long. So many were saying case was cold, LE not investigating, LE just sweeping it under the rug.

Hopefully all that will be answered at today's presser. I hate this news though. I hope at the very least Melodee just went to sleep and didn't face any violence at the hands of her vile mother.

Multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News that Melodee Buzzard's body was found in early December in Utah in an area where it was known the two had traveled. Law enforcement had been waiting on DNA to come back on the human remains, which have now come back confirming it was Melodee.

There are so many people who would love to have a child and nurture them and care for them and give them a good life and she just did not love her or give her anything she deserved. Plenty of people with mental illness still do not do this to their child.
