I don't see what you are referring to....if someone could enlarge it, would be super!~
Definitely.....and use a filter or whatever to make it clearer. Anyone?
Ruby Red????? Where are you?

HB, I am listening to the 911 calls again. On the YOU tube "Mitrice Richardson Police Recordings", the last 911 call from the gentleman listed seeing Mitrice at 5:30am (not 6-6:30am). Also from the location of the Sheriff Dept and Monte Nido, can Mitrice really walk that in 4 hours?
Also, I really feel like she was raped/left alive and dumped there, ended up in this guy's backyard, then just wandered and came across an animal ...JMO.
Definitely.....and use a filter or whatever to make it clearer. Anyone?

Yes, she could have easily walked to the Monte Nido neighborhood in 4 hours. Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road is not as hilly and steep as it is past Piuma Rd. It would have been a demanding hike, but definitely plausible.
Someone mentioned footprints. Where were the footprints? By the remains?? I don't think she was chased into the thicket where her remains were found. Getting there would have required careful maneuvering based on what LE reported, and based on satellite imagery of that area.
Seems like an animal could have dragged the bones there, but not sure an animal (say a coyote) could carry both the skull and the leg bone simultaneously. If it did, or even if it made two trips, then the actual spot where she died is probably not far from there.
I am hoping LE studied the area for signs of an animal. It is still a big mystery how she got there.
I can't get into the video. Keeps saying it is not allowed from my location. Is it on any other site? If it is I will get a screen shot of the part you are referring to. So far I have not been able to find it.
I can't even get the video at the link to load. Sorry.
Still searching, but found this. Wow. She was really in a VERY REMOTE area as seen in this video. Someone is describing exactly where in this video. It's as if she had hiked to the tip of the mountain, or just dropped there from above.
That case is a bit different because there was an access road nearby. An off road vehicle, tractor etc. could have been used to move Morgan from the access road to the corner of the property. That case is weird too, but it is obviously someone that knows that land. Here...no clue who or what could have happened.Reminiscent of speculation in the VA girl's remains found on a huge farm there.
Took the words out of my mouth. How the heck did she get up there??? This had to have taken a couple of days for her to get up there. Maybe hoping if she went high enough somebody would notice her??? No clue.

Thank you for posting that. I have not been that far down Piuma Rd to know what the surroundings look like. So, the remains were found on the side of a MOUNTAIN if I heard correctly? Also, the officer stated that there were no clothes with the remains. I though that had been confirmed that there were.
Don't know if relevant, but an LA Probation area is very close to where she was:

That is back on Malibu Canyon Rd. Who knows though.
Occam's Razor: could she have been dumped from a helicopter?? That would be truly bizarre. All I can think of is she hiked up the hill because she was lost and hoped someone would see her. After watching that video, seems unlikely that an animal dragged the remains: skull, pelvic bone and other bones as well as clothes.
Take a look at the other videos on YouTube by user seavid (where this one came from). They are pretty telling. Watch the behavior of everyone involved. Something is up.
The video with Lee Baca ("remains identified part 2A" or something like that) has a very good map at the very end of it showing where she was last seen, where her body was found and where the murals were found, which was near the Stunt Ranch. This is a very large area.

Thanks for the link to those videos, there is a lot of information there.
One that caught my attention was from the search of the Malibu Canyon area in June. Searchers found a large area with shacks, a travel trailer, etc. in a very remote area. There was also much, much more graffiti, similar to the graffiti found on Stunt Rd. Is it possible Mitrice came across or was picked up by some of the people growing pot/manufacturing drugs in those remote areas?

It certainly would have helped if police had searched the area more thoroughly when she was spotted the following morning. Big missed opportunity.
That said, there's still a whole lot more investigating work being done. There will be a lot more information developed from the evidnece they've found upon discovery of her remains. We just have to be patient and see what it tells us.
I am a little lost here. Was the graffitti in Malibu canyon and mitrice's remains off of Piuma road? I am asking cuz that is a distance from each other. When I watched the video there was some very interesting stuff. If Malibu canyon had the graffitti and Mitrice was found off Piuma then it's not that weird.
As we all were until some more specific information started being shared. I thought the lack of information about locations has been strange. The graffiti was NOT found in Malibu Canyon (although that is what has been stated). It was northeast of the intersection of Malibu Canyon/Piuma and closer to Mulholland Hwy. Not far, but not close.
Mitrice was found deep in brush. If I heard correctly, the side of a mountain (did anyone else catch that?) that formed the walls of a ravine (actually, it seems more like a canyon). In terms of Piuma Rd, she was east of where she was last seen, but quite a ways from Piuma Rd. I can't even imagine a scenario (except for being dropped by helicopter) with her ending up there. The area where her remains were found is NOT in Malibu Canyon; rather, east of it. Some reports stated this ravine is a remote area of Malibu Canyon, but looking at maps, it is reasonable to state that it is not.
The pot farm theory is interesting. During the search for Jared Michael Negrete, searchers stumbled upon a pot farm as well. His body was never found.
Just thinking, here. If she stumbled across or was picked up by some pot growers/ drug dealers who were working in the area, they wouldn't dump her near their hideout. They would likely know the area pretty well and would be able to leave her someplace that was well hidden.
Judging from the google map in one of the posts above showing where they found her remains, the location wasn't too far from a residential road. Still an isolated area and the homes are pretty far apart. It seems feasible they could have driven her to that neighborhood (Brown Latigo St.) and made the short, but difficult hike down there to leave her. I'm not familiar with the area at all, but maybe someone who is local can offer an opinion.
I'm not convinced of a helicopter drop by LE. There would have to be so many people at the sheriff's office involved, its highly unlikely they could get them all to cooperate in such illegal activity.
IMHO, the sheriff's office reps are all talking strangely because they've been sued by the girl's family and are the subject of calls for federal investigations, etc. They're probably very careful about what they're saying for those reasons as well.
