Kimberly Felder's hearing to receive doctor's report was continued from February 28 to March 14 to today.

It was also on for setting of preliminary hearing and confirmation of Counsel. Setting was continued to April 4.

Kimberly Felder expected to plead no contest in attempted murder of child in 2017 alleged exorcism

Preliminary hearing for Kimberly Felder was scheduled for June 13. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing today and was held to answer on all five counts and special allegations in the original complaint.

This Friday she will be arraigned on information. The attorneys have worked out a negotiated disposition. Felder will enter a no contest plea to Count 1, attempted murder and special allegation of great bodily injury.

At intervention, defense had indicated that a waiver to the preliminary may be entered on June 13. It was also indicated matters may resolve.

The DA's office had stated at the last hearing that they would communicate with the victims about a possible resolution in the case.

Judge to decide sanity of Kimberley Felder at time of alleged exorcism

Kimberley Ann Felder pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity to a charge of attempted murder and denied a special allegation of causing great bodily injury in front of Judge Christopher Wilson on Friday morning. She will be back in court Wednesday (6/20) for a trial to determine if she was insane at the time she attacked and seriously injured her daughter in June 2017.
According to Public Defender Marek Reavis, who is representing Felder, she “was interviewed and evaluated by two psychiatrists appointed by the court and both agreed Ms. Felder was insane at the time the incident occurred last June.”
