Nikki's sister posted a picture yesterday saying how much she enjoyed dressing her kids up on Halloween. Sad to think of all the upcoming holidays they will also miss with their Mom.
Many people are asking that very question. We can only hope SCSO is making progress behind the virtual wall of silence they have maintained. They don’t have the best record for solving cases in that jurisdiction. Neither does the DA’s Office. Why hasn't there been an arrest? Investigators must have cell data by now. Where's her phone ... last ping? Where was her husband's phone from May 16 to May 21? As the family says, someone beyond her husband knows what happened.
May 7 - text to sister about separation/ planned divorce
May 17 - with husband's family at hospital, husband absent
May 17 - text to sister about dropping off mother-in-law's vehicle
May 17 evening - no response
May 21 - sister reports that she is missing
May 31 - husband due in court for DV charges
August - DV charges dropped (key witness is missing)
1. she was with his sister at his mom's house, took an uber
2. she was with his sister at his mom's house, walked off
3. she was with him at his house, had an argument
4. she might have walked off
5. she ran off with her lesbian lover
6. she took off with a boyfriend to Vegas
7. he claimed to be a "happy couple", got along great
"During previous incidents and flare-ups in the couple's relationship – whereby Nikki would leave and stay with a family member or friend for a few days at a time – the two women say Tyler would ask them to, "Tell her I love her. Tell her I'm sorry."
But this time, Chloe and Kaye say Tyler responded, "I think she's missing. I don't know. I think she's missing."
...
"He told my brother a different story each time," claimed Chloe. "In one, he said he got into an argument with my sister at his mom's house and she walked off and took an Uber.
"And then he said, 'Well, she might have walked off.' He also later claimed the argument took place at his house and not his mom's house.
Chloe's brother continued to press Tyler on the details of that night, which agitated him after a while, allegedly prompting him to hiss, "Are you recording me? What are you a cop? Why do you keep questioning me?
"He then told my brother that she had 'run off with her lesbian lover and that she had also taken off with a boyfriend to Vegas,'" claimed Chloe.
...
According to the report, Tyler also offered the police "inconsistent" statements, first claiming he believed Nikki was having an affair with another woman and later stating they "got along great, and have been together as a happy couple" for years."

Missing woman's sisters slam conflicting stories from husband's family
THE final movements of a mom who vanished three months ago are still unclear to her family – with those among the last to see her alive incapable of getting their stories straight. Nikki Cheng Sael…www.the-sun.com
good summary, seems like plenty to go after him... maybe that's already happening. He's still locked up on "unrelated" charges, isn't he? (actually very related, imo!)Why hasn't there been an arrest? Investigators must have cell data by now. Where's her phone ... last ping? Where was her husband's phone from May 16 to May 21? As the family says, someone beyond her husband knows what happened.

CCTV at the hospital and nearby parking lots should be easy to get. Same with cellphone triangulation and data. That info should be enough to zero in on who was where and when. Many people are asking that very question. We can only hope SCSO is making progress behind the virtual wall of silence they have maintained. They don’t have the best record for solving cases in that jurisdiction. Neither does the DA’s Office.
You literally have no idea the amount of information that is available in this case, but cannot be discussed here because of the sources.CCTV at the hospital and nearby parking lots should be easy to get. Same with cellphone triangulation and data. That info should be enough to zero in on who was where and when.
If investigators are waiting to find a body before they are willing to press charges, the forest fires in the same area where she may be can be enough to turn a body to ashes. Body or not, it seems obvious that she was last seen with his family, he admits to seeing her that evening and claims that there was an argument, there's a prior incident where he tried to kill her ... she filed DV charges, he had a DV court date two weeks after she disappeared, charges were stayed after she disappeared ... the most dangerous time for an abused woman is when she is trying to leave the relationship. She was divorcing him, and he knew it. Her only enemy was her husband.
It's clear to me why the FBI is involved (Tribal-Win River Casino). But why Homeland Security, same jurisdictional authority? Now considered a homicide investigation. Here is a link to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office press release:
