It looks like they are searching a lake not too far from the apartment for Noah

I’m not quite sure. It’s a ways down the freeway from the hillside they were searching. I thought maybe they had cell phone pings until I realized the difference.

Hopefully someone is talking and that’s how they identified the spot.

I think the press enterprise article may have been updated (or I missed this earlier). There will be a press conference with the FBI and local LE tomorrow at 10am PT.

I believe that Noah was subjected to systematic abuse/torture, by his sperm donor. I believe the mother was at least aware and did not stop him.

I think Noah slowly died and that the parents fought over what to do as the child was dying. Dad may have kicked out mom and did not allow her back in because he disagreed with calling for help, so she may have been unaware as to when exactly he succumbed.

The mother would have had excellent grounds for custody against the father due to his apparent lack of involvement.

However, the grandparents would've had much better grounds than either parent, IMO, if indeed they had raised the kids most of their lives and if there were on-going issues with the parents.

The fact that the mother supposedly camped out and did not go for help earlier nor ask her parents for assistance indicates to me a level of not fear, but culpability. Maybe either drugs were at play or she didn't want to give her parents reason to try to get the kids back, IDK. But both parents were charged with the same crime, although there are two ways to get there - one is inflicting the abuse and the other is allowing it to happen.

I will never accept the abused spouse excuse for allowing a child to be harmed. No amount of fear of a spouse/partner could come close to the level of fear at my child being abused/killed.

I would kill any person who is harming my child before allowing them to continue to harm my kid.

This reminds me in some ways of the Jhessye Shockley case. She too had been in the custody & care of loving family members, but her egg donor demanded her return and subsequently killed her within a year.

I agree with you G, no excuse. I'm still confused about the facts in this case but trying to be sensitive. The Grandparents knew about the abuse, Noah told them. I assume they questioned their daughter, what did she tell them? If Noah told them about Dad, did no one talk to the sister? What did she say? Many of the facts are as clear as mud.

I'll change my mind if new facts warrant, but I'm glad Mom has been charged and is in jail. How many times do we see a Mom not acting to protect and there are zero consequences? I also will never understand how a person can sit in jail and remain silent, tell LE where Noah is you piece of crap!!!

The search for Noah McIntosh, the 8-year-old Corona boy who went missing earlier this month, brought authorities to Temescal Valley on Wednesday.
Corona police detectives searched for Noah at Lee Lake in Temescal Valley, Sgt. Chad Fountain said.

Police have searched, among other places, the hills near the 15 Freeway and Tom’s Farm near the 23900 block of Temescal Canyon Road. Police didn’t find evidence at either location, Fountain said. Police also brought a plumber to the boy’s home.

District Attorney Mike Hestrin, Sheriff Chad Bianco, Corona Police Chief George Johnstone and FBI Special Agent in Charge Voviette Morgan will address the media at 10 a.m. Thursday, Corona police said.

The DA’s spokesman, John Hall, declined to comment on what Hestrin planned to say. A coroner’s spokesman said he had no information to provide on the investigation.

Tom's Farm and Lee Lake are within 3.5 miles of each other. There is a cell tower located at Latitude: 33.711389 Longitude: -117.533056. Seems likely that a cell phone could ping on that tower from the areas LE are searching?

How long did the dad live at the Dos Lagos area in Corona? How familiar was he with the surrounding area? How long did he live in the Orange County area prior? Dos Lagos area is not that far from Orange County. I suspect he came back to more familiar territory with the body. My goodness there's so many places to put a body in the Anaheim area. (where the children were living prior, with their grandparents) It would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Trust me. I've lived in the area all my life.
I just can't figure out how he removed the body from his apt. without the mom knowing. Maybe she did know.

He grew up in Chino Hills. He is a few years younger than I am but I have mutual friends who know his family and went to high school with them. Given that, he likely knows the Chino Hills/Corona area very well.

Did she work? She might have only been there at night.

I can’t believe he doesn’t have one either. And unfortunately the people I know didn’t really want to stay in touch with his sister who is our age.

I checked and no record comes up in Clark County NV.

But it feels like something has to exist somewhere. He has the look of prison all over his face.

Have you ever seen a guy that makes every hair on your body stand up? Like when you look at him you think, "why aren't you at work? What kind of man isn't at work during these hours?" Restless. That's the vibe I got from him waiting to pick up my kid. I never forgot that feeling.

There really aren't that many "lakes" per se near here. LE has been searching and following up on what seems like every plausible lead. We have had a lot of rain and water flowing and flooding since the Holy Fire destroyed our area, but Lee Lake (Corona Lake) would be suspicious because it was a fishing spot, but recently purchased a couple of years ago. They gated it off, and it was all but abandoned. Only recently did it become a "lake" again with the rain and water. It was almost empty this summer (and most summers). They were taking water from it to put the fire out. You used to be able to get some great fish there.

If you're referring to Dos Lagos, those are man made ponds around a shopping mall. They're well maintained and relatively shallow. There is a pond by Toms Farm which is REALLY shallow. Another pond is at the Trilogy golf course, but it's really the base of a waterfall. Other than that, I can't really think of any other bodies of water except Lake Matthews. That's HUGE and pretty far up the road.

Unfortunately there’s a plethora of areas, especially in Chino Hills he could go..
I don’t have a FB, but I checked with my friend (since the sperm donor and I are around the same age) and apparently we have mutual friends too.
