There really aren't that many "lakes" per se near here. LE has been searching and following up on what seems like every plausible lead. We have had a lot of rain and water flowing and flooding since the Holy Fire destroyed our area, but Lee Lake (Corona Lake) would be suspicious because it was a fishing spot, but recently purchased a couple of years ago. They gated it off, and it was all but abandoned. Only recently did it become a "lake" again with the rain and water. It was almost empty this summer (and most summers). They were taking water from it to put the fire out. You used to be able to get some great fish there.

If you're referring to Dos Lagos, those are man made ponds around a shopping mall. They're well maintained and relatively shallow. There is a pond by Toms Farm which is REALLY shallow. Another pond is at the Trilogy golf course, but it's really the base of a waterfall. Other than that, I can't really think of any other bodies of water except Lake Matthews. That's HUGE and pretty far up the road.
There's also Lake Perris and Lake Elsinore.

He was an EMT with American Medical Response, I believe in Murrieta.
Interesting profession for someone in the situation he is in. Was he going to work during the time Noah was missing and before his arrest?

PTL an update very soon.

Wow. THAT guy was an EMT? Scary. I can't imagine it.
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
Unbelievable.
Trained to save lives.

Gee, I'm glad I was never in an ambulance w/him.

Agreed about the vibes of a restless person about BM.

God knows how he treated both Noah and his sister. Life had to be hell with him.

As far as a criminal record... maybe he just hasn't been caught before --and has been (for lack of a better term) "lucky" ?

If Noah had reported abuse to the grandparents, it would've been Noah's word against BM's. And even if the grandparents had reported BM, and nothing was done as far as removing the children... they (g-parents) might have feared the children would suffer even more.

Sometimes kids get bruises in ordinary rough and tumble play.
And of course BM would say, "Oh, yes. Well of course it's possible Noah received those bruises from playing outside..." (I've no idea which vernacular BM uses)

Hoping today is the day they find him ...or at least someone talks !

NBCLA

Wrapping up now. Bryce is being charged with DP eligible 1st degree murder with special circumstance of torture. They are also requesting info on his car but I joined too late to get the info.

Clarified mom is not a suspect for the murder, charged with willful child endangerment.

So, both parents have been charged with abusing Noah on February 24(?) and the dad is charged with his murder. It's been said the mother was living in her car outside the apt and the dad was not allowing her to see him. The dad was an EMT right? What the heck happened to this child that resulted in death and when did it happen? The dad is trained in saving lives in emergency situations. Why did he not save his son's life? Did he beat him and to the point he couldn't save him? I'm furious just thinking about it!

When I look at the dad's picture I see someone who seems extremely intense.....a scary kind of intense......like if I passed him walking down the street or at the local Dos Lagos shopping plaza, I would feel a sense of fear.

KTLA showed part of it not the part about torture or the car though. I live in Corona and am heartbroken. I had to tell my kids last weekend about the blue ribbons and Noah, tonight I'm going to have to explain this. How do you explain this to a 6 and 9 year old? I knew this would be the outcome, but wanted to be wrong.

I don’t have kids but feel the exact same way. We all knew where this was going but it still is a punch in the gut to hear it. I was up near Squaw Mountain Rd, with the area covered in blue ribbons, while watching it. I wasn’t sure whether to cry or pray that someone in jail takes a shank to Bryce.

ETA: I just got to the description of the car. They are looking for any sightings of his black BMW 330i between late Feb and March 12th.

Disgusting. How do you torture an 8 year old child, let alone your OWN 8 year old child? IMO, dude deserves to burn and I hope they give him the welcome treatment in the penitentiary.
