The fact that this family is feeling the need to issue this kind of statement, is appalling.
Some of the comments to the statement PROVE his point.
All the garbage on social media and youtube prove his point.
All the warnings LE always seem to have make anymore about feeding social media rumors and how these rumors actually interfere with and disrupt their investigations, prove this man's point.
There's always a handful of bad actors stirring up garbage and inciting others to join in.
It's truly disgusting what this family is dealing with, not only with the missing boys, but with the nuts they're having to also deal with now as well. My heart goes out to them.

That’s out of his swim lane. The agency would have its own internal audit team. If the citizens demanded action, a criminal investigation might ensue, but that would be rare IWT. Maybe someone with local gov experience could comment.

Yes, this has been going on for nearly two months now and the extended family is handling it with grace and dignity. They have been very patient, yet the crowd of "protesters" will not give up trying to instigate them.

Not only is it not hindering the investigation, it is very dangerous, especially in today's world. Emotions can escalate into violence.

Just the other day, an argument broke out between a couple and their neighbor here in PA. They cursed, insulted and threatened each other until the man across the street went into his house and came out seconds later with a gun. He shot the wife and husband to death and then turned the gun on himself.

In this case the extended family has responded appropriately to the harassment and threats by calling police and making public statements.

But that doesn't mean these people are going to stop. I would suggest they and the AV guy who encouraged them watch the surveillance video of the argument that turned fatal and left three people dead. It's been all over the news here.

I've seen some pretty awful stuff, but it pales to what's going on now.
It's classic mob mentality, incited by each other and random busybody youtubers & various SM platform users that live for this kind of wild speculation, accusation, and digging into people's private lives.
It's disgusting, entirely non-helpful and crosses several legal boundaries (threats, harassment, trespassing, vandalism, and who knows what all else).

No doubt. I speculate people are demanding a review of the fostering/adoption of the West’s children.

I've mentioned this before, but I would think that would be part of the investigation. They would probably examine all documents and court records from when the Wests first became foster parents, as well as the adoption process.

The bio mom has publicly hinted that her parental rights were violated, so CPS might be checking documentation themselves to be sure the parents were properly vetted and the adoption was legal. Imo

If they left on the 19th with four kids, because I’m convinced from what I’ve seen in the video it was only 4. I mean they’re walking one by one in line and you see two adults I just don’t feel like they would’ve shown that for any other reason. So with all the video the neighbor and neighbors have don’t you think there would’ve been video of the two boys sometime between the 20th and the 21st outside?? I’m betting that there are some really questionable actions on the 20th and 21st that were caught on video with JW and TW. That may be what the focus is in the yard/ surrounding area . There could of been a lot of abnormal behavior .

I wondered about that statement, too. They could be referring to all the anger and speculation about the parents, and as a result the accusations are directed towards the extended family.

By entities I think they are referring to YouTube and SM in general since rumors and speculation can influence the public.

I don't blame them for being afraid to search. They have people following the grandmothers to Drs appointments and assaulting an elderly man. Not to mention a crowd gathered outside their home, yelling at them and recording them.

They don't know anything about these people. I would be afraid that someone is going to lose it and someone could get injured or worse.

I completely agree and don't blame them for speaking out about the harassment. The extended family has made clear from the first statement made on medium - they are not supporting nor speaking out on Trezell & Jacqueline's behalf. Make of that what you will.

To target and harass them at their homes simply because they are related is wrong, IMO. If those were my parents, I would do exactly what JW is doing in trying to protect them and explain their side of the story to the public.

All I see is general information about CPS. There's an article stating that child abuse has decreased by about 43% since 2008, another that states 6 children died by abuse in the last year, and another that states reports of child abuse have gone down since the beginning of covid. Imo
