Really sorry about the duplicate posts. Don't know why.

Couldn’t agree more @susiQ.For me, this case points in only one direction. LE have not since almost the beginning, treated this as an abduction. They have video. We’ve all seen that video. Had a vehicle been identified in the area of the CC home, some description would have been released regardless how vague. That didn’t happen. Now we have the BPD taking over and asking for anyone that had any interaction with the boys over the course of the last year to come forward. This isn’t rocket science.
As others have stated, it’s possible the boys “disappeared” at different times. It’s also possible they disappeared the same day. In my mind there are three possible reasons these boys are missing:
1) An accident that took both of them and this “abduction/missing” business is a cover-up,
2) They were abused/neglected to death,
3) They were sold either to a loving family or some not so loving criminals.
The thought that these little ones could have been missing many months before this charade began, tells me there are others, other that the AP that know something and are complicit in a cover-up.
Regardless which scenario, only two people are responsible for whatever happened. They know and I sincerely hope the day is coming when they will be held accountable.

I speculate we are now going to witness a rapid unraveling of the original story provided. Fasten your seatbelts, stuff is about to get real...
amateur opinion and speculation
Another thing we haven't see, is either pictures of the boys wearing masks or even a picture altered to show what they might look like with a mask on....
I don't think we are looking for living children. That would explain why there seems to be no urgency in getting recent pictures from anyone. None of the police have given what I would consider a reasonable answer when asked about the lack of recent pictures. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I cannot understand how these kids are supposed to be recognized by pictures that are over a year old. Kids grow and change WAY to much from 1 year to the next at their ages.

Yes, I think the pictures the parents initially gave police are the most recent pictures they had. I'm not sure they are really over a year old, though. Orrin looks like he could be almost four but Orson looks like he could be closer to two. You can see how much they've changed, especially Orrin, from the pictures the bio mom provided.Another thing we haven't see, is either pictures of the boys wearing masks or even a picture altered to show what they might look like with a mask on....

This has really got me thinking... if I had seen a family with 6 children in tow at some point in the past year I would likely have remembered it...Unfortunately with Covid the chances of them all being out and about may be a lot slimmer but I truly hope someone out there has a memory - even if previously they thought there was nothing in it to report - and calls it in. Praying for these sweet boys to be brought home.
I have six children between the ages of one and 14. Wherever we go, we are noticed. They are usually talking, moving, running, arguing, laughing, etc., so if you didn’t see us, you hear us. At the store, we get in the way. I’m frequently reminding my kids to stay to one side so people can get past us. People are often curious and want to ask questions or just comment about my family. With Covid, we have gone out much less than we normally would, but there are still doctors appointments, dentist visits, and errands that still need to be taken care of. I will say, I think missing any of those types of visits with Covid, there wouldn’t be much suspicion since they don’t want you to show up if anyone has any potential Covid symptoms. You could cancel, tell them you will call them back and reschedule and then just not follow throughout and it would probably be awhile before they sent a reminder letter or anything, if at all.

I love kids so I always engage when out and about, I'd be one to comment on your beautiful family.
Thank you for pointing out the noise factor involved with six kids. I've said this many times - six kids who are home 24/7 and not going to school, cannot be so quiet that neighbors would not EVER hear them playing in the backyard. Covid did not prevent kids from playing in their own backyard, within a sibling group. Could you imagine keeping six boys age 9-3 in the house? We're talking a single story small home.
This was one of the biggest clues something was not right with this family.
The neighbor with the pool directly behind the West home, did not waver in her interview. I doubt she suddenly remembered seeing or hearing them later, she was quite clear in her observations. The Cal City police chief clarified in his most recent interview (before it got turfed to Bakersfield) that they did later find neighbours who saw and/or heard the kids - after that initial statement was made.

Yes, the neighbors who did see the kids apparently did not know one from the other. I don't think anyone has reported seeing all six kids at one time, though. So it's still the case that no neighbors in Cal. City are certain they have seen all 6 children together at least once, as far as has been reported?
Are there any school pictures?Another thing we haven't see, is either pictures of the boys wearing masks or even a picture altered to show what they might look like with a mask on....
