Unfortunately, I think the boys were long ago taken out of the area by the time they were reported missing. MOOGod bless Tim Miller!! I wonder if BPD has enough information to even have them come help search? I hope a reporter follows up on this.
You mean out of Cal City or Bakersfield?Unfortunately, I think the boys were long ago taken out of the area by the time they were reported missing. MOO
They haven't talked to anyone this far, I don't see them speaking to Tim either.i feel like if he gets any access to anyone who knows anything he can suss them out. remember with theresa balboa? he told her about herself and she ran off.
Either. We need an independent verification! Not sure allegations the boys were seen playing outdoors late fall in Cal City are true! You mean out of Cal City or Bakersfield?

This really makes me think that all people receiving any type of monetary support for a dependent should have to show up with said dependents 2x a year for case management and assessment. (Verification that they are alive). It could even be a Zoom Meeting once a quarter. But the dependents would need to be at the meeting. Or all benefits cut until they come into office.
Thanks, I wasn't sure what you meant by "out of the area". Thought maybe you had some ideas on where they were taken.Either. We need an independent verification! Not sure allegations the boys were seen playing outdoors late fall in Cal City are true!![]()
While a case like this really does make this sound like a worthwhile measure, how many people are there in the country that might be receiving some "type of monetary support for a dependent"? If you consider a child tax deduction as monetary support, that would amount to pretty much every parent or person in a custodial role of a minor. Even if only a Zoom call of some sort were required, I feel like the man hours needed to complete such an endeavor would be a challenge. This really makes me think that all people receiving any type of monetary support for a dependent should have to show up with said dependents 2x a year for case management and assessment. Like in Kyron's case...like someone said in the katelin akens thread, just refuse to talk and hide things well and you seem to get away w it.

Maybe Tim can talk to Trezell's parents & brother, they were going to hire a PI right? LE may have digital records that could help? That's what they have said they are working on now I think, maybe the timing is perfect now.

So wrong. This encourages black market activity, and the assistance for legitimate purposes gets subverted. There needs to be *positive* ID, such as fingerprint scanning, vs. visual ID. The old "shuffle kids for payment" scam is well known. Legitimate assistance needs to be protected by leveraging technology that is readily available, combined with mandatory jail sentences for individuals who fraud the system. This is a requirement to receive WIC benefits which are literally just vouchers for food... seems odd that the department of children and families doesn't require it for cash assistance, food stamps, housing assistance and/or to receive benefits as a foster or adoptive parent. Same for stimulus payments.. no questions asked. Weird. Jmo

Interesting that you bring up WIC. Not sure about the pandemic months, but before that children in the program had to come into the WIC office on a schedule to be measured, height & weight.
These boys would be eligible until age 5, if their family applied.
Wonder who last weighed these guys at the WIC office & when, also when LE spoke with that person....
jmho ymmv lrr
WIC is one of the better programs, with data for outcomes. I think that is interesting, because I am sure that this family was involved in any government entitlement program. Would they have been considered "over income", based on the foster care and adoption grants?
