Clothing & Personal Items
Clothing: Red and white bikini type underwear, a light colored T-shirt (size: small, 34-36) with a picture of Betty Boop standing on a grid, and her dress blown upward.
Jewelry: White metal cuff-type bracelet with no hallmarks and appearing handmade was found near the body.
Additional Personal Items: The remains were wrapped in a brown-striped and flower motiff comforter. Dark-blue pinstripe and a dark blue or black cloth near the remains.
Circumstances of Discovery
On March 22, 1989, at approximately 1045 hours, a man was walking his dog in a wooded area behind 901 Oceana Boulevard, Pacifica, when he discovered the skeletonized remains of a female, enshrouded in a floral print bedspread, lying amongst dense shrubbery.
She is believed to have been killed elsewhere and dumped at the scene.
Authorities have noted similarities to this victim's death and the six known victims of Morris Solomon, Jr.
Most of Solomon's victims were Black prostitutes and were covered with bedding when he dumped the bodies. He is suspected of killing seven more people in Santa Clara County.
The victim was exhumed in 2011 and DNA was successfully obtained from teeth and a femur sample.
