Could be. A Soho NY art gallery owner says that most of the destroyed artworks depict flowers on Japanese paper. And were purchased by Morris from him for $875,000.
The gallery owner (Georges Berges) still has some of Hunter's work at his gallery.

I find the article confusing.
It says that HB lost his luxurious home (Morrises' home) and his paintings which were stored close by in a structure.
Then it says that the house was spared in the fires so are they referring to past Cali fires or this one?
I've read nothing elsewhere about Morris's house burning.
I really liked a few of HB's paintings and was surprised by some of their delicacy.

"In the past Morris loaned Biden Jr. about $5 million to help him pay off his debts. His property was among the very few spared by the fires."

I check the Federal Land Management website Good Neighbor Authority. It appears the only program CA participated in was for restoration after a fire.

CALIFORNIA

Klamath National Forest - Forest-wide Good Neighbor Authority Supplemental Project Agreement with CALFIRE to collaborate on important forest health work, including post-fire recovery across the Klamath National Forest. We currently have a successful collaboration with the Shasta-Trinity Unit of CALFIRE and Shasta Valley Resource Conservation District, for work on the Yreka Craggy project, which will include post-fire restoration work. This forest-wide agreement will maximize our collaborative effort and provide flexibility and opportunities to accomplish shared stewardship goals across the landscape.

I also looked at the CA Bureau of Land Management and found little on fire prevention forestry management. I did find they promote hardening of structures.

....
Known as the California Wildfire Mitigation Program (CWMP), this effort encourages cost-effective wildfire resilience measures to create fire-resistant homes, businesses, public buildings and public spaces.
Klamath/Shasta/Trinity areas would NOT have helped LA county. It's very far Northern CA.

There is another article that says the paintings were stored in a warehouse. The warehouse burned. The Morris home didn't.

The collection was stored in a warehouse near the home of Hunter Biden's attorney, Kevin Morris, in Pacific Palisades

Just discovered that my aunt's former house may have been in one of the recent burn zones. It's near The Getty Museum. If anyone has the burn maps, could you please post them again?

Okay, thank you! It was difficult to find the street map of which homes were burned, but I was finally able to plug in her address, and it looks like it was just outside of the burn area. So was my grandmother's house in Hollywood. My family and friends in LA are all safe. but gosh how scary! I was on edge as to whether or not my brother was next to be evacuated. And my nephew was 2 cities over from the Eaton fire...

Oregon has gone to L.A.

Firefighters and equipment from every corner of Oregon came together to help in California, from Clatsop to Umatilla, Deschutes to Coos, and every county in between. This monumental effort showcases the strength and collaboration of the Oregon Fire Mutual Aid System.
Today, most of our strike teams are working 24-hour shifts to secure fire lines, track down and extinguish hotspots, and respond to any new fires. A few teams are resting after completing their own 24-hour shifts yesterday. Despite the demanding work, morale remains high, and the teams deeply appreciate your support.
We’ll continue to share updates as they continue their good work!

LASD has released a list of seventeen at risk missing since the fires.

I've begun a thread for them in the missing forum.

A total of thirty one people are unaccounted for at this time.
