Okay, I guess what I'm getting at is that other people have different opinions than yourself, and officials cannot tell those other people that they're "just stupid".

My point is that fires starting back up and getting out of control isn't unique to LA, nor the first time it's ever happened. It's the fault of the original arsonist, not the fire department's. (I wasn't calling you stupid Cedars).

Did this man start this fire that led to all this horror? Yes, clearly. I am just saying there may be good reasons why we don't see prosecutors bring those manslaughter charges so many want. Maybe I am totally wrong.

I don't think you are wrong at all. Anybody who lives in SO CAL and beyond knows what those good reasons are, although we are not permitted to discuss those good reasons on this forum. I guess we will see how this plays out.
