I really hope someone identifies her. This has been bugging me for days.
I do too. She just has a very distinct look and I’m SHOCKED nobody has come forward

It's been bugging me so much. I don't understand why no ones come forward and the fact that there are no articles about her.

That’s what I’m saying. Honestly, the fact that UIDs don’t get any coverage (and when they do, it’s like, 20+ years later) is the reason there are still so many UIDs still unidentified.

Would asking around tattoo shops in the area be a good lead?

I don’t want to be presumptuous, but considering the content of the tattoos, they may be a part of the LGBTQ community, and it would be worth trying to share this description in local groups on Facebook, Reddit, etc.

I don’t have an account on either, so can’t do it myself.

I was just coming to say the same thing! She's been on my mind for a couple of days and I can't help but to think the totality of what we know about her appearance and what she was wearing - the 'Her King' bracelet has been stuck in my head since I read about her - could indicate a link to the LGBTQ+ community in the area.

I'm sure (or hopeful!) that the police have considered this but I don't know the area since I'm across the pond, so I don't know how much of a scene is in this particular city or the area around where she was found.

And even if she wasn't LGBTQ+ she was certainly striking with an 'alternative' look so reaching out to more niche communities might be worthwhile. And, of course, she could be a missing 'runaway' who had changed their look substantially since last being seen.

I live less than half a mile from where she was found.... This city has a bad gang and drug problem. It's not uncommon for people to go missing from here or be found dead. murders, kidnappings(its actually very common). This happened on father's day and it got some media attention from local news outlets but it was overshadowed heavily when less than a month later another doe showed up in the same city. Just about less than 0.3 miles from where this woman was found. Only it was a 5 year old boy who was found in a dumpster. He has since been identified though. This place is extremely sketchy..

Idk how I can be of any help being that close to the scene but. I wish it gets solved soon.

Just curious, is there a homeless camp near your area or where this woman was found? She seemed to have been carrying quite a bit.

Yes, several. The most notable one would be in the abandoned (now recently demolished) Montgomery Ward building on chase and Tobias street right across from the Walmart parking lot. Where she was found though, is in the outter area of panorama city which leads to Arleta (much nicer area outside of gang activities and out of the ghetto)... I guess you can all it the "outskirts" of the area. Also, something to note, she looks a lot cleaner and healthier than any homeless in those camps.. There are some known trap apartments around here too.

Wow, this girl looks incredibly familiar to me. I felt a full body jolt of recognition when I saw her face, but I just can't place her. I wonder if we crossed paths in anorexia treatment or one of my psych hospitalizations in the 2010s (particularly around 2015-2017). I was in facilities in LA county. My best guess is that she looks like someone I might have met in eating disorder treatment in Pasadena 2017. I really hope they find her name soon.

Can you elaborate more?

I think I recognize her face, but I don't know where from. I lived in LA county for most of my life, so there's a chance we did cross paths, especially if she was hospitalized (aka 5150) in the 2010s. I'm currently scrolling through my old Facebook messenger to see if she was one of the girls I added when I left treatment.

That would have made her around the ages of 17-26 ish? I'm sure you're memory asher is vague but do you recall anything you might have talked about?

I was shocked this doe was not Crysta.

Great my daughter is flying out next week to drive her friend home across country ,with her infant . She is moving back to VA from Oakland. I probably wont sleep while she is gone.

I have heard it is pretty bad in certain places.

I believe I knew a girl who looked a lot like her who was in adult eating disorder inpatient (or possibly the adult Partial Hospitalization Program) at BHC Alhambra Hospital circa 2017ish. I did not know her well IF she is actually the girl I am remembering. That's a big if. I wish they had the deceased woman's measured height, because the girl I remember was definitely taller than me. Probably around 5'6"-5'8". I'm still looking through my Facebook messenger and I'm going to check my old Instagram afterwards in case I added her there. I noticed she had a 5150 tattoo, which is the only reason I think it's possible that it could actually be her. In California, 5150 = a 72 hour psychiatric hold.

So, I can't find her anywhere. Probably best to ignore what I've said, because my memory of that period is so poor. However, the 5150 tattoo is definitely something worth looking into. Being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold is something that the state definitely has a record of; it comes up on gun background checks. She looks to be in her late 20s to early 30s and the tattoo (see image) doesn't look fresh, so in all likelihood she would have been hospitalized sometime in the 2010s. Idk if LE can search those records in any practical way though when so many people are hospitalized every year.

If anyone does start a reddit thread , This image will go a long way.
I think this UID was 4 '10 so you most likely would be taller , so don't stress over not finding that girl.

As long as she has situational awareness and uses common sense she should be fine. Don't go walking at night. If an area looks sketchy, don't stop there--just keep driving. She needs to trust her gut if a situation feels off, even if she thinks she's just being paranoid. Keep the doors locked and don't sleep in the car in a poorly lit parking lot or anything like that. Some close friends of mine just made the same trip a few weeks ago and the worst thing they ran into was traffic!
