Mom Charged with Killing and Torturing Her 8-Year-Old Son, Who Was Found Dead in a Cooler, Covers Her Face in Court

The parents and grandmother of 8-year-old Isaiah H. have been charged with his murder and torture after he was found dead 'in a cooler filled with ice' in a Lynwood, Calif., apartment complex. His mom, Destiny Luckie Harrison, hid her face while appearing in court.

The boy’s parents, Destiny Luckie Harrison and Daniel Alberto Monzon, and paternal grandmother, Ana Carcamo Zarceno, have been charged with one felony count each of murder, torture and child abuse resulting in death “with allegations that they caused willful harm resulting in death,” according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
