At 8:30 a.m. Monday, police said Garcia was still missing and it was unusual for her to be out of touch with family and neighbors for this long.

"We do not suspect a crime is involved but we are looking for her due to her medical needs," police said. "Paula Jo is believed to still be in Napa County, maybe up valley."

A 78-year-old Napa woman who had been reported missing since Saturday was found dead on Tuesday, according to Napa Police.

A78-year-old Napa woman who had been reported missing was found dead on Tuesday morning, according to Napa Police.

The body of Paula Jo Garcia was found at 9:43 a.m. in the 2200 block of Big Ranch Road in north Napa, less than three miles from her home, police Lt. Christopher Pacheco said Tuesday night. No cause of death was given.
