I doubt it's her, but I thought I'd post it.
Thank you for doing so Los! I know I love ou for how how on top of the latest info you are! :loveyou: and :blowkiss:

Oh dear, it does look like I got that wrong. I can't edit now. I'll ask a mod to remove it. So sorry.

Just some thoughts here. No new news.
We know where the abductor and car were when Pearl was abducted and when the license plate was photo ID'd on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Someone or something placed the abductor and car in or near Jenner. Jenner has a gas station, food, and places to camp. It's a good place to get a tank full of gas and a night's sleep before heading back to the Bay Area after a day on the Sonoma Coast.
Vallejo to Jenner at 7 am on a Wednesday
typically 1 h 40 min - 2 h
Arrive around 9:00 AM
65.3 miles
via CA-1 N
typically 1 h 40 min - 2 h 20 min
Arrive around 9:20 AM
71.1 miles
via CA-29 N and CA-1 N
typically 2 h - 2 h 40 min
Arrive around 9:40 AM
89.2 miles
via US-101 N
Jenner to Richmond Bridge arriving at 9:30 am on a Thursday
typically 1 h 25 min - 1 h 50 min
Leave around 7:40 AM
71.1 miles
via CA-1 S and US-101 S
10 am Wednesday to 7 am Thursday = 21 hours
So, allowing for traffic and conservative travel speeds, the abductor could arrive in Jenner around 10 am on Wednesday. To be on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge at 9:30 Thursday morning, the abductor would need to leave Jenner around 7 am the next morning, allowing for traffic and conservative travel speeds.
If you give him 8 hours for a good nights sleep, that's still 13 hours of time on the Sonoma Coast. You can cover a lot of miles in 13 hours.
21 hours - 8 hours = 13 hours
Great job with all of the driving times!
The question I have is that if he was spotted on/near the Richmond San Rafael Bridge at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, which direction was he going? It seems that if he was going east, toward Vallejo or the East Bay, he wouldn't have had time to go there and come back and still make it to Solvang by 3:00 p.m. It's about a 5 or 6 hour drive from San Rafael to Solvang. If he was going west on the bridge (which makes sense with the 9:30 - 3:00 timeline), then IF he ever went north to Jenner, it had to be on Wednesday, and he returned to Vallejo or the East Bay afterward, then took off again on Thursday morning.

East on 580 is away from Vallejo. I think he took her from Vallejo, took 37 west to Sonoma county and was driving east on 580 away from Sonoma county then on south

I agree! It's very unfortunate that it took so long to ID his vehicle.
7 am Wednesday to 1 pm Thursday is 30 hours.

Thanks for the compliment. I used google maps to check the trip times.
I believe he was driving east on 580. An East Bay local would never endure two bridge tolls to go to Southern California on Highway 101. Plus, it's well know that the bridges have cameras in the "toll" direction. I wasn't aware that there were cameras in the "non-toll" direction. One report said he was spotted north of Los Alamos at 3:10 pm. It would be possible to drive from Richmond to Los Alamos in 5.5 hours.
3:10 pm
Abductors vehicle reported to CHP: The 1997 Gold Saturn sedan was located traveling southbound on Highway 101, north of Los Alamos, in Santa Barbara County.
Another report said
Castro was first spotted in San Luis Obispo County, where CHP officers pursued him into Santa Barbara County.

I wonder whose vehicle it is. Seems like if it was his, LE would have known on Wed since they identified suspect then as 19-year-old.

Yesif he didn't take 37, then he went north on 80 to 12, but idk why he'd do that, he would have to pay to cross carquinez, no? Either 37 or some back road. I think he took her there wed and was returning thurs. I think she's somewhere over there.
Yeah if I was driving Vallejo to Jenner I'd take 37 to Lakeville Hwy to 116 and either take 116 to the coast or veer off on 101 to either Hwy12 or River Rd and then head to the coast. You don't drive Hwy 1 in a hurry unless you have an iron stomach or lots of barf bags. It's VERY windy and treacherous in some places. The main Hwys are much more direct.
The toll on the Richmond Bridge is West Bound. No one wants to pay to enter Richmond.
Edited to add: I see what you mean about the two bridge tolls now. Meaning he wouldn't veer around the East Bay only to re-enter Marin County (1 toll) and then endure another toll along the GG Bridge. Yeah that makes no sense at all. I suspect we would have heard that his car was also spotted crossing the GG Bridge if this was the case as well. Maybe they do have cameras East Bound or at very least just traffic cams on the East Bound entry point even though there's no toll collection? Good question.

As weird as this sounds if she was still alive when they drove out to the coast, she could have thrown up in the car (I have kids and friends that I regularly have to pull over to let them barf). I know I'm harping on the winding roads but it's what I associate with driving out there!
