I wanted to note about the athletics, due to genetics and other health factors I have wear to my joints and I have bone spurs that doctors say is usually do to advanced age, hard contact sports, or a bad accident. None of those apply to me. Just thought that was worth mentioning here to the wear on her body could have been due to something other than sports.

It is also an old analysis. If you remember the Ina Jane Doe/Susan Lund case, the first look at the skull made the anthro think she had a genetic disorder. When Dr. Michael analyzed it in 2022, science had changed and she didn't see any abnormal symmetry. Or case of Julie Doe (dr. thought they were a bio female until they did more specialized testing)

My thoughts are they really need to question people that were at Danny Rasmussen's funeral in Dec 1978 in Hawaii (he committed suicide after shooting his 20 year old wife). His 4 year old son is listed as visitng relatives in Arizona (where Terry's sister lived-Jacqueline, at the time). This is right after Terry and Marlyse left her house that Thanksgiving. Terry is listed as attending the funeral.

I have always wondered if Marlyse and Terry went to his sister's house with their kids and the bday pics with Marie are from either Arizona at Terry's sister's house (or in Hawaii for the funeral). Marie's bday is around Dec 7 or 8th. Danny's funeral was on Dec 4 1978.

Can you elaborate on this? Where is this information listed? It does seem to flow into the timeline we know and makes sense of some things.

I mean, it's not on the specific timeline. But it is in newspaper accounts from the time and the info about his funeral is public. I'm trying to track down the one that I had from the past that specifically said which family members were there.

Some of the keys to this case are not going to be digitized. Since Rea's birth certificate with Terry's name was found in the in person index where it could have been found for a long time, it sort of seems like its time for someone to head to the library and look through some of the papers or arrests for states where we know he was...not everything is always on line.

Thank you for sharing those news articles. I don't think I've seen them before (I don't have an account to access old newspapers) and don't remember anyone discussing this aspect of a possible timeline of Terry's whereabouts. I do think you are on the right track as far as where he and Marlyse went in those early days after Thanksgiving with her family. Too bad the photos of the birthday party don't include adults so we have a better sense of time and place.

I would think LE is looking into this part of the timeline and talked to his family members. But it's interesting that they don't include it in the timeline. I'm curious why that is.

Has anyone suggested UP4389 yet? A lot matches up. Skeletal remains were found in early 1980. If Pepper died shortly after bringing her daughter into the world, then she would be skeletal by 1980. Height a tad off. Weight not off at all, in fact, both list 115-130 ranges for the MP or UP. Obviously, race and sex match. Distance between Anaheim and Valencia not large.

Rae was born 1976 June 15th. Around Dec 1976 she would of been a infant

Pepper last saw her family in Texas on December 18, 1975. She introduced Terry as her boyfriend and told her family she was pregnant. The timeline for Terry's visit "with an unknown woman" to see his ex and their kids says "around Christmas 1975 or 1976." He said he lived in Ingleside, TX. I think this visit was 1975 and Pepper was with him. It would make sense that he and Pepper would see her family in Texas, then his family in Arizona, as they possibly proceded to Southern California where Rea was born 6 months later.

If his visit to his family in Arizona was around Christmas 1976, they would have had an infant with them. I can't imagine Pepper would travel and leave her baby with someone. I also don’t think he would have been with a new woman so soon after Rea's birth. I know it's possible, but it's a tight timeline.

I wonder how and where he met Pepper.
