I wonder if the man offered to let LE search home and business? LE would still get warrants to protect the searches, but it might explain how they were able to search at this point, if no evidence that he did anything yet. I would let LE search, if I was innocent and wanted them to move on to finding out what really happened. Has he said that the search was not ok'd by him?

IANAL but I thought a 'consent to search' form could be used in lieu of a warrant. I'm thinking of something that happened in Caylee's case where George signed a consent instead of LE having to get a warrant.

Just a thought, I wonder if Nguyen's wife left the home last Sunday "during the time Le is believed to have disappeared."?

I hope they are able to review the surveillance from his residence and that it shows he didn't leave his house during that time period. I know sometimes they retape over themelves after a certain time period though so we don't know if they got that particular date/time or not. I know I've been wrong before but my gut feeling just tells me TN didn't have anything to do w/ Phuong's disappearance. I am leaning toward a random parking lot abduction, between the time she tossed her belongings in the trunk and was about to get into the car w/ her key. If she was headed over to the gym it would have been a good reason to have put all her stuff in the trunk so that doesn't seem odd to me.

I'm really hating the way these articles are written:

"Had Relationship With Ex-Boss"

"confirmed that a missing nurse had been romantically linked to a former boss"

"detectives confirmed the two had been in a relationship"

It would be nice to know either the question asked of police or exactly what the police stated.

Oh heavens no. I'd never consent to a search without a warrant.

Today, detectives confirmed the two had been in a relationship, but deny rumors Le was pregnant.

Nguyen has not been named as a person of interest in the case nor has anyone else.

So what does that mean as far as what can be posted here?

It means you can respectfully sleuth him. He was romantically involved, last person to see Le, has had search warrants filed against him for his home and business. It appears he has some connection to the case.

Police in Pennsylvania have arrested a man in connection with the case of a missing nurse in Northern California.

Police say the Pennsylvania man was sending text messages and emails to the brother of Phuong Le. The man was claiming to know Le's whereabouts.

Police in Chester, Pennsylvania have charged the man with electronic harassment.

They didn't give much detail in the article, did they? Was this guy just a nutjob? He obviously didn't try to cover his tracks. :waitasec:

One thing I find curious ... I have been reading and following the Help Find Phuong Facebook page and they are having hundreds of fliers printed up to hand out and post everywhere they can. Recently, they have taken up a collection to help pay for the cost of the printing of the posters. What I find VERY CURIOUS is why Thuc or Tchu Nguyen who owns Postal Express in Suisun City and who is the former boss of Phuong, hasn't offered to print up thousands of posters for FREE?

If he is such a good friend of the family, and a 'brother', and now we find out that the police say he was in a relationship with Phuong, why isn't he printing the posters for them?

Wonder how long the affair was going on - according to friends and family, nobody was aware of it. Where did they meet and how did they keep it all such a secret? Was she using B&N and gym as her cover? And if so, what did he use?

Excellent point! What's his contribution to help find her?

He posted a bunch of nasty stuff on the FB page the day before yesterday also.

Any family that has a missing loved one or a memorial page on FB for their child, there are trolls that target them. They post horrible messages, horrific and even pornographic images. I see it every day on a lot of groups I am part of on FB.

FB does nothing, Once you report it, it takes forever for FB to delete it and delete the profile of the troublemaker. Who btw...has a dozen back-ups ready to do the same thing. It's easier for the admin of the group/page just to report/block the profile and delete the posts. It's ridiculous.

I am happy to see someone prosecuted! I think they all ought to be.

I called several times in Susan Powell's case. (The WVPD) and so did many others and they were not interested and blew us off.

From Nancy Grace Blog:

http://nancygrace.blogs.cnn.com/201...s-key-in-search-for-missing-california-nurse/
"Investigators reportedly serving search warrants on Nguyen’s home and business Friday night, allegedly taking computers and other items. We spoke to Nguyen earlier today and he insists he has nothing to do with Le’s disappearance, is fully cooperating with police and just wants her home safe. When we asked Nguyen about the alleged romantic affair, he hung up. Nguyen has not been named a person of interest. Volunteers also spent the weekend searching Grizzly Island Wildlife area in nearby Suisun City."

Yes! I agree, and I hope that some of the trolls who get their kicks doing this type of evil carp take notice. Freaks. :furious:

I don't have FB, so I have a question. Is there a way to have comments await "moderation" before they get posted to a wall?

Maybe his wife wasn't too fond of that idea with the most recent news :-(

Do you mean his store has printing services?

Nope.

FB sucks at security. It doesn't give the admin's much control either. You can just delete posts and block the profile.

Wish you could ban by IP.
