GUILTY CA - PR, 13 mos, Palmdale, 18 July 2015

An Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning when a 13-month-old was allegedly abducted after her mother was sexually assaulted in the Antelope Valley, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station.

The mother was staying at a Motel 6 in Palmdale, located at 407 West Palmdale Blvd. (map), with Jonathan Holmes and her 13-month-old daughter when he allegedly kidnapped the woman around 3 a.m.

Holmes then allegedly sexually assaulted the woman and took her to an area near 230th Street East and Avenue J

The daughter, identified as PR by an Amber Alert message posted online, was believed to have been left at the motel initially, but later kidnapped.

Holmes relationship to the woman and PR was not clear, but he is not the father of the girl, Fender said.

PR was taken around 3 a.m. Saturday and was last seen wearing a yellow sleeping jumper. The suspect in the kidnaping was identified as 38-year-old Jonathan Holmes, who was driving a brown 2001 BMW with the license number 7-E-V-A-5-4-9.

This abduction is in Los Angeles county but far north of the city of L.A. It happened in Palmdale CA.

It's still active here (above) and no one else is reporting it's been canceled. I hope they have found little PR safe, but I think we should keep spreading the word until there is more confirmation.

Headline: CHILD ABDUCTION ALERT

The amber alert has been updated to show that the vehicle has been found. I understand this to mean the the vehicle has been located and I think for an "amber alert" there has to be a vehicle to look for. So the vehicle may have been found but PR may still be missing. :gaah:

She was staying at the motel with him. I wonder if that is a correct statement or a typo of some kind. Are mom and Holmes in a ' relationship ' of some kind?

I found a Jonathon Holmes but he offended and is registered in KY. The birth date is close but not exact to what is in the AA. The RSO notice lists several aliases and one is spelled the same as our perp.
