Richard Carpenter, 73, traveled to Salem Friday night to live with family and receive medical care for a number of health conditions.

Carpenter is believed to have left his family's Salem residence in the 4000 block of Wyant Court NE around 8 a.m. Saturday in a black 2008 Cadillac SRX. The Cadillac has a license number of 6BAN631.

Carpenter is described as being a white male, 5'09" tall, 100 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. He wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black belt and a colored plaid shirt.
