There's a Jeanie Ann Craft who married a Johannes Manrique in Nevada in 1971, and who was 61 in 2014 when this NamUs was created (born 1953).
46yo in 1999.

eta, it's her, then she married a Sanders in Nevada in 1977.

A few days after the baby was added to NamUs there is an obituary at theunion.com for a "Jeanie Ann Craft" born 1953, but the death is not listed anywhere else that I can find.
Can anyone read the full obituary?

Google leads me to:

Jeanie was born on Feb. 9, 1953, in Paris, Ark., and spent her youth on a cattle farm with her mom and grandparents in Oklahoma and Arkansas. She later moved to California and attended Pinole Valley High School

and

She is survived by her son, M, and his wife, J; three grandchildren; siblings L W and T and T A; and her best friend, D L.

Please remember that we NEVER sleuth family members. I have edited to use initials, since afaik no one listed is considered a POI by LE.

Not found on Find A Grave, useful site.

Thank you!
That is her, same DOB.
LE must be aware of the obit and the people mentioned in it.
Maybe they haven't found proof she actually died?
Because then they would know her "last known whereabouts", no?
Very strange she "died" just after LE announces they want to locate her.
I feel there are several mysteries going on here.

The obit does identify close relatives if LE is at the point of attempting a DNA match, imho.

Wouldn't there be a death certificate?

sbm, I can't find one using those dates or her different names.
LE would. If there is one.
The info in NamUs is from 2014, maybe they haven't really looked into it since then?

Im not sure if the info i have is legit usable but I noticed the Namus was created May 5 2014, She died May 11 2014 only 6 days after that namus was created is there a chance She found out they were searching for her and commit? I'm not sure really (added on) After looking it said Another name but same first name Jeanie Ann Craft, And Jeanie Manrique Manrique is the lastname of whom she married So I'm basically conviced this was her but why did it lead to the woman and not the father most likey it is lead to the mother i know that but she's already dead since she died 6 days after the namus was created so what really happened?

I noticed that too when I found the case on namus. It looks like the page hasn’t been updated since 2014.

But would that this woman could be the infant's mother? judging from the info other people gather and more info i have by just looking over its most likey they did found the woman reasons for different lastnames she may have been married and/or have been seen with different guys with those lastnames reason for those different lastnames. this woman who died May 11 2014 matches the two names one is Jeanie Ann Craft. And if she was married idk if she was but if so her name would've been Jeanie Manrique. which is the name of her husband. i'll do more research and see if i can find this woman in any census or any other records way back. but im conviced that this woman is the woman they were looking for (edit) I found her on ancestry probelm is theres no record of her knowing that but only thing i got was parents names not sure if that can be helpful but if it is let me know

Since the NAMUS page indicates that the infant passed in 1999, I do expect that LE was only looking for the one person, and that person's death put a stop to their case. imho, on the Cold Case shelf now.

Further, I expect that LE has reason t believe that the husband may not have been involved in any way with the infant.

So what lead to them believing it was her or why did they suspect her because if she was pregnant wouldn’t atleast the husband confirm she was pregnant and gave birth unless He and her didn’t have contact or ETC but other then that it makes me wonder if like anyone else knew about her being pregnant or whst lead to her being a suspect
