I couldn't find a thread for her so here it goes.

This young woman was found in a drainage canal. There was about 3-4 inches of water in the canal and her upper body was above water. She was fully dressed with no discernable injury to her body. She had been wrapped in a blanket. It is believed that she was dumped at the spot we found her. She wore some jewelry but had no identification or personal belongings. Exhaustive investigation over the years has been unable to establish her identification.

She died just hours before, no PM but there is a scetch of her.

Found in Newton Street street in Riverside, CA

Must have looked very diffrent back then, today it's a residential area.

Google Maps

I wish we had a PM of her.

Could she be Marion Hawkins, she has no photo on namus but she dissapeared from Los Angeles just a few days prior and she is 5-11 while JD is 5'8. She also fits the age range, she was 21. Riveride is not that far off from LA.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Circumstances of DisappearanceOn October 7, 1975 Marion Hawkins moved from Marin City, California to live in Los Angeles. Her mother (reporting party) received a letter from Hawkins saying she was living at that address. The RP received a letter from an unidentified male saying Hawkins moved out. She was never heard from again.

There's a picture of Marion Hawkins from the 1970 Tamalpais High School yearbook on her thread.

Considering this picture would've been about 5 years before she went missing, Marion shares a pretty good resemblance to the UID. Marion also seems to have good teeth like the UID, and the timing of when she went missing is close, I think this lead is worthy of submission.

Great. Can you send it in?

Bumping this one. No PM available, could she stil be identified?

She seems well groomed, teeth good, nails painted, fully dressed in jeans and a t-shirt with jewelry...not as you’d normally see a transient or possible prostitute described. I of course mean no offense by that and know it doesn’t necessarily mean a thing.

Her recon isn’t bad either. I think she could be recognizable.
