He could have known her, or appeared to look harmless, or trustworthy

Perhaps all of the above; perhaps he also knew Cindy Mellin and appeared harmless and trustworthy to her as well.

was Robin's abandoned car dusted for prints?

In one of the articles about Robin's case it states her father accidentally hosed her car while gardening before the police had a chance to fingerprint it.

Was the car's interior also washed?

Good point. I wouldn't have thought so but it didn't give further details. I'm surprised the car was brought back before the police had time to fingerprint it, but I suppose in the early hours there was still hope Robin would return, and so it wasn't considered crime scene evidence.

It surprises me , too, that the car was not processed by police. As in all too many cases back then, it seems foul play was not suspected at first.

I don't see how the cops didn't suspect foul play? As a matter of fact, I assumed her family and cops thought that from the minute her car was found abandoned.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if Robin Graham had a aunt named Grace Gene Graham? She may of went by Gene. This would be Robin's dads sister.

.......if these 5 posters could have been assed/bothered to read the thread, you would have seen the post by her SISTER on PAGE 1.The car was fingerprinted and nothing found!
This happens in alot of threads and causes mixing of fact and rumour ...and is bloody annoying!!! rant over ;)

You don't have to be rude and yell at people. Mistakes happen. Take it down some notches. It doesn't hurt you to be kind or pleasant.

think her folks are dead. Not sure about her sister. Is her sister still searching for her?

Robin's sister made several posts on this thread a decade ago ( posts #6, #8, #10). I also wonder if she has continued her search for Robin . I wish she would come. back
