I shall! I sent her an email yesterday - and she said she would look into! She did say she saw the article in the Auburn Journal when it first happened, but nothing else.

@Niner Their website does not have crime information online. Their first FAQ actually states this and says to call a certain number. I guess I could try calling during business hours to see if they will release any info.

Hopefully it's an 800 #!! Don't spend too much $$ calling long distance. From what I recall - didn't Placer County have a court site that you could look up stuff??!! Or am I remembering wrong... o_O

@Niner You’re remembering correctly. That is the site where I cannot find him and where he should be if he was charged with murder and/or manslaughter. I will call the Sheriff’s office today to inquire. Fingers crossed they know what I’m talking about ;)

Just mention the hit n run by Bob & Betty's. It's a small town - so whoever answers SHOULD of heard or know about it! :)

@Niner They might have heard of it but wouldn’t share a thing with me when I called yesterday. Told me to look at Placer Superior Court website for more info. I told them he doesn’t show up there to which the person replied that they were sorry about that.:rolleyes: I guess we can just keep searching to see if something pops up one of these days on the court page or in the news.

Definitely! I will look as often as you want. At some point they will have to file a case with the court and/or the news will post an update about it.

@Niner Nothing. Other than his mugshot all over google, there is nothing in the Placer Superior Court website. I also tried every variation of how his name could be spelled other than Skylar Perry.

It’s so strange. I just can’t imagine he was let go without charges but that seems to be the case. All the news reports showed his mugshot and his name as Skylar Perry. I would hope they doubled checked the booking name before posting the mugshot.

Especially if one person was killed & 2 injured... definitely strange he is not in the court system. Why don't you check Roseville court site - but I think that is still Placer County - I can't remember.

It is. The Placer Court is actually in Roseville although they still hold some trials at the old courthouse up in Auburn. I even tried the surrounding counties like Sacramento and El Dorado but there was nothing in his name.

Anything new in the Placer County court site - maybe??!! :)

There is nothing in the Placer County Superior Court for him and I also checked the Placer County Sheriff’s jail roster and he’s not there either. I don’t know what happened but it’s obvious that the charges were dropped. I wonder why?

Okay we didn’t have the Warren last name. He is under WarrenPerry, Skylar in the Placer County Superior Court. He has a Trial Confirming Hearing on 11/09/2020 at 8:30 am in Department 20. He was arraigned on 9/28/2020 and entered a not guilty plea. There is no trial date set yet and he waived his right to a speedy trial when he was arraigned. The case number is 62-169451.
