The more I read, the more upset I get. This is truly a tragedy - the loss of a bright star who chose a profession where she could help people. Taken out by a misogynist and his gun.

When the 911 call was made by this woman seeking assistance in getting her personal items out of the house, were LE advised of his record for domestic violence or the many rifles in the house?

When police receive a call, do they automatically pull up the address to see if the person living there has a record so they know who or what they are running into? Just curious. As many times as renters move, this may not be possible.

I sure hope so. The caller definitely had a responsibility to let them know (assuming it wasn't a quick, panicked call in secret so he wouldn't hear).
