Circumstances of Discovery
The unresponsive decedent was found by San Diego Police Department Officers beside 4077 Fifth Avenue in San Diego, California on May 22, 1992. There was evidence of severe head trauma.

He was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital where he later expired.

Strange.... I just noticed that the address where he was found is actually the address of the hospital where he died (Scripps Mercy Hospital). I suspect this is an error. Most likely he was found elsewhere, and transported to the hospital.

I don't think so, because the article is from April 19, 1992, but the case mentioned in this post occurred on May 22, 1992.
i have a feeling it is him, and he was in the hospital for awhile before dying. that is why they listed the hospital address in error.

That's what I was thinking too. I wonder if there are any missing people from the City Heights neighborhood that match this description.
