I'm not 100% sure this is the right Steven Anthony Manhart. The parents listed here celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2000 and a local newspaper claims their son Steven (albeit from San Fran) along with the rest of their kids hosted the celebration. If he had died in or prior to 1982, I'm not sure they'd list him as a host?

I found one of his sisters and talked with her on Facebook. Sounds like all the details line up—the family is going to get in contact with authorities, thats all I am going to say at this time to respect their privacy.

Yes, I believe his siblings claimed him. I don’t think I’m going to reach out and ask them though. Sounds like he was always a loner and drifted away from them. It’s a tragedy, I just hope that he’s finally at rest and his family can heal.
