sorry so late.... my son has a spelling test in the morning and we had to practice a billion times LOL..

1530 presser:

-((missed this)) something about "outfits" being tested (I have since read from my astute peeps that the hello kitty shirt has been found somewhere..in the dumP?....it is being tested

-per the outfit....it is being tested

-can we find the father? yes we can find him when we need him

- who took a ldt? le cannot confirm or deny

- the father's interview was scheduled by le...why? in order to fill in some blanks....

-search planned for tomorrow is a helicopter grid search starting at nine am.because large areas of fields need to be searched and the chopper can do this better than people walking.

-are there any more searches for today/night.... no...but that can change with whatever changes/twists/turns the night brings

-The water search today covered bases....nothing so far

-what are criminal backgrounds of pois? cannot say or concentrate on but they all come into play ( yes he really said that)

-one reporter asked about "pelican bay" and Wohler...there was no comment (WTH DID THIS MEAN WSERS???)

-why the frequent pressers? to keep Sandra in the news... le said, (no **** they said this!) "she WAS a small little girl for her age"

-is it draining to le...yes it is draining. and direct quote I took: "yeah it is starting to show. You have to order them to take a couple a days off" he furthermore states that he will his officers take a day off or two in the next couple of weeks(please God tell me this case won't go on this long!!!!!!!!!!!)

-a reporter asked when they would scale back the ivestigation.... LE said that thru saturday there will be no scaling back and a presser each day at 1030 and 330 pacific time.

- they still need people to hang fliers and volunteers... they can report to the Tracy fire department...at any time

-this weekend there will be a larger search pattern that is still being worked on. They are using fbi models to search.

-sandra's new home video will be released

next presser tomorrow at 1030

it was visualized by a reporter.. I linked it earlier today (title was something like oakdale house is related to sinclair or some stuff like that lol..) I will look back thru to find it...

If this turns out bad-the way it might be looking right now, is LE gonna be in hot water over not issuing an amber alert and not calling it an abduction? I think they are doing a great job in this case but I was just wondering what y'all thought.

what do you think Mew? I think they are okay... they went above and beyond immediately...not even knowing a car or perp description.. (((again moo...and I wish the current missing child laws could be changed to reflect developmental age...and circumstances.. like a sort of formula or something ......)))

It sounds like Wohler might have been in prison at Pelican Bay. I looked the other day for criminal records for another case in CA, and was unable to pull them up. Maybe someone else can figure out how to do so.

-yes le is tired and frustrated but they are optimistic... are they any closer? YES they are onto things...several things leading in the the right direction. They won't rule anything out until they have the complete story (yes he really said that)

does anyone else wonder what the significance is between Sinclair being arrested, his cars and home swed, and then his cousin's house in oakdale searched TWICE?

It believe LE knows a lot more specifics than they are putting out there. I'm thinking they intend to keep the pressure on (for someone in particular) until they push them into revealing some information. I do not believe anyone in her family is involved in her missing.
This little girl looks so much like my granddaughter it breaks my heart. I am so hopeful Sandra will be found safe.

I have been trying to look at criminal records at the courthouse, but currently they are unavailable. Making me crazy.

I think the LE in this case are doing an outstanding job. I do not think they will receive any flak about the Amber Alert. It sounds as if they were following procedure. We have to remember that in most of these cases, the child is really at the neighbors or has gone somewhere with another family member and just forgotten to tell mom. If the Amber Alert were to be "overused" or frequently cancelled within a matter of an hour or so because the child was quickly located, people would stop paying close attention to the alert. Does that make sense? I'm thinking of the boy that cried wolf. We want the alert to continue to make everyone stop and take notice immediately.

Having said all that, I do think there should be some better parameters for when an alert is issued. The age of the child should be a number one consideration. Here, Sandra is 8, she has already been missing for 4 hours. Mom has already checked the neighbors and other places she can think of. Siblings were accounted for, I believe. One phone call to dad to verify Sandra was not with him, and an alert should have been issued.

Cantu was sentenced to two years in prison for possession of a controlled substance for sale. He served 13 months between September 2005 and October 2006

Here's what I'm thinking .....

In the beginning, when they first started saying they had POIs, there were indications/insinuations of 2 men working together. I was thinking maybe FW and CS? Maybe CS had access to his cousin's house? But it could mean CS and his cousin? Maybe they were sitting around drinking Friday afternoon, when Sandra came back out of the house.
