there must be more....Why would someone call over a suit case type container? I know I wouldnt call LE over that. I would assume it was trash. BUT if there was an aweful smell near one then i would be calling. I'm betting their is more to the story.JMO

in the LE phone interview about this development LE said that all area residents are on heightened alert and know to call if anything suspicious turns up on their property. LE said this is not something normally found when the farmers drain their irrigation ponds to water their crops. (also if you look at the picture the container is not along the road where normal trash being thrown from a car would fall. Whomever put that container there walked a ways down the grasssy strip to dump this in the water) moo of course

That's the son? wow....he looks older than early 20s....I was thinking that was the dad...who ever he is, I agree, he does look like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders! jmo

also... in the water area where bag found (if you look at the pictures the water is only puddled in one area as the rest is drained) there is a stand of trees that would have given a good "shield" to hide someone tossing something in the water. At the same time, the trees would also have prevented anything that large from being tossed out of a car as trash. Again, moo

In the one picture you can see that the mud is still damp up the side of the pond. So this container would have been submerged.

exactly what I am seeing....I'm thinking that who ever put that container there could have parked in between the irrigation ditch/pond and the trees.....which appears to be dirt......I hope there are some tire tracks that LE can get some good molds of..if this turns out to be related to Sandra. jmo

let me correct myself! If you watch the live aerial footage it looks like a creek/ most likely a branch of the old river, is right next to these ponds... so yes...I think you could get there by boat
