I think they pulled it. Nothing there. But I think I did just see the family on the KRON website in the back of the room. Sadly, it didn't look good - although no news is probably the worst news for them. IMO

I once was friends with a trauma nurse, who said that they had a complaint when someone heard them laughing and joking while making rounds. He explained to me that the amount of trauma they deal with, the heartache they see, and know that they are about to have to deal with, then go home to their families at night- he said that it would drag them down, and they would stay depressed if they succumbed to it.

I can't fault them entirely from removing themselves from the horrific details they are about to be confronted with. I don't think it's necessarily right, but I don't know their jobs. Here we can joke on the basement thread then come to this thread for a press conference, and no one says anything. Of course, we arent there, live and in person.

But there, I dont know how comfortable I would be crying on the job, either. I'm sure they HAVE to remove themselves to some degree.

So I can't entirely judge/fault their small talk.
