And I bet she gets wic
They also get soldAn EBT card won't provide lodging, nor gas for the vehicle, nor most restaurant food/prepared meals. So that somewhat restricts a lot of travel expendedures, planned or otherwise.
Question> Do any of you know if the use of an EBT card can be tracked to a date/time/location? (Like a bank card could be).
I've been assuming it was a car accident, undetected. After watching the last sighting of them I’m inclined to think they ended up in the water. Having a baby in a car by yourself is a handful unless they’re asleep. My thoughts are that she was attending to her baby, over corrected and crashed into the canal. Moo
I didn't pick up initially that her car was missing the driver's side headlight. That had to have impacted her driving at night.I've been assuming it was a car accident, undetected.
I think it was night and she thought the canal was the road. Mistaking a body of water at night for a road has happened before.
We should know soon, imo.

It's a straight shot up 99 from Fresno to Elk Grove. What on Earth was she doing in Waterford and/or Escalon? If she'd left at 5 PM and drove straight up 99 she'd have been home before dark and would not have to worry about the headlight. And if stopped, she'd have been given a fix-it ticket. This makes no sense. I was hoping they would be OK, and it's really not looking good at this point.
Now, police are saying their SUV was also confirmed traveling through Waterford around 9 p.m. before making its way to Highway 120, east of Escalon – about an hour’s drive from their home.
Doesn't she have an open warrant? She wouldn't want to be pulled over, even for a minor issue, imo. It's a straight shot up 99 from Fresno to Elk Grove. Only her mother has stated she has an open warrant explaining that is why she believed police weren't taking her missing seriously. (that is from previous links in the thread). I could have missed something but I searched court records and open warrants in Kern, Fresno, and Sacramento Counties and found no open cases of any kind, civil or criminal, under the name Whisper Owen. Could it have been from a county that's not been mentioned as to her living in or spending time in - yes? But nothing where she or her immediate family lived.Doesn't she have an open warrant? Seems like the idea of taking backroads made sense to her, even if it wasn't efficient.

Thanks for the correction. I do think, however, she deliberately kept off the major roadway and took less-monitored roads to avoid being pulled over.Only her mother has stated she has an open warrant explaining that is why she believed police weren't taking her missing seriously. She left Elk Grove at 4 AM. It was dark then. Did she take back roads on the way to Fresno, too? I can't imagine being that fearful of getting pulled over on a well-traveled road, but people do some strange things. I personally would not want to make a long road trip with an 8-month-old any longer than necessary, but that's me. JMHO.Thanks for the correction. Tbh, I thought we would have heard something from the canal search by now.
