Does the video look like it could be enhanced to see who might be driving?

The classes were usually online at that time, given by people who have no clue what living a subsistence lifestyle is, you don't have a computer, or internet, and you couldn't go to the library, because it was closed.

When these classes are "court ordered", it is done by people who can't conceive of not having a nice place to use their computer, with their internet. Or they cavalierly say, "Oh, they can do it from home". Really?!

Even classes you have to attend, require child care, transportation, parking, on and on...that so many people just don't "get" how much money that costs. It is just an ongoing spiral of poverty, depression, and more "warrants".
We don’t even know what she didn’t follow through with though so know I absolutely am not willing to say this should have been waived. I’ve personally seen these classes save children’s lives and stay home with their family. Most areas have resources and childcare through cps to assist with the issues you identified in these situations. This isn’t the same as taking a driving course and getting a warrant for that for example.

Speaking of Covid specific time there were many workarounds to get these online classes completed. Most places has tablets offered or people coming to your house to watch it with you. Frontlines still worked. We had people in homes doing this all of the time during Covid.

If for example her child ingested an illegal substance, not only is a class like this working for sobriety it is teaching her how to safely keep substances away and what is okay for a child to have. Or if a child is getting whipped as discipline, it’s working in anger management and appropriate discipline

I’d much rather see someone have to struggle to work a class when it comes to neglect or abuse and still be able to keep their child home than just have a child removed.

Again, we aren’t taking a traffic ticket, parking etc we are talking actual child abuse. And as far as I see it there are 3 options - 1. allow child to remain without any education and continue to get neglected or abused 2. Allow education to occur while supervising the child staying home and building skills or 3 remove the child.

What solution is better?

Still wondering what happened at the smoke shop

What if - there never really was a doctor's appointment? It was just a reason to leave Elk Grove.
This would certainly fill in a lot of blanks. IMO

My thoughts are with the family today, they knew something happened to Whisper and pushed to find her and Sandra without the help of LE. I hope LE reviews how this case was investigated and makes internal changes.

Poop. I really hoped this wasn't it.
If you aren't from here, the canals are pure peligro when full. The water is cold, deep, full of trash, and very strong.

MY heart is breaking for this family !!! Rest easy young ones.

That is very sad. At least they have been found.

Oh, how awful. I hate driving by those canals. They're very scary as there's really no way to get out.

Condolences to the family.
