Me too, I sure was wishing for a different outcome for them. Do you think the car went into the canal right at that spot, or would the canal current have carried the car along any distance before it got stuck under the bridge?Poop. I really hoped this wasn't it.
If you aren't from here, the canals are pure peligro when full. The water is cold, deep, full of trash, and very strong.
I think it went off there. You can see how bad the lights were on suv in the video of her driving , I noticed when looking over the map ,how easy it would be for her to go over to far off the shoulder when other cars were coming towards her, due to light blindness and lack off her own lights. It looked like to me on the map that the wide gravel area combined with going off a shoulder , might have pulled her off the road entirely , I think lodged under the bridge I guess but it went off right there within feet imo.Me too, I sure was wishing for a different outcome for them. That really says it all. RIP Whisper and Sandra. I wish this wasn’t the case but I’m glad you were found and your family was vindicated.
I'm not sure why this topic is relevant at this point but I believe the courts disagreed with the brother re: the harm to her kid(s).
There isn't, unless you have an angel come along. I came very close to losing a friend in one. She got sideswiped and overcorrected into the canal. She said the car went down so fast, before she even got her seat belt off. She was ready to die, and a young man rushed into the water and dragged her out the window.Oh, how awful. I hate driving by those canals. They're very scary as there's really no way to get out.
Condolences to the family.
She was blessed ! I cannot imagine how scared she was. I hope Whisper and the baby were knocked out on impact with the water so they had no clue what was happening. There isn't, unless you have an angel come along. I think a local volunteer diver & AWP
The Diver is Juan Heredia. He is with Angels Recovery Dive Team. He’s amazing! He’s done a ton of recovery missions. Check him out when you get a chance. As others have already said, Adventures with purpose is the other group that located the vehicle with their sonar.
It's terrifying, but at least it sounds fast, and not especially painful. She was blessed ! I cannot imagine how scared she was. I hope Whisper and the baby were knocked out on impact with the water so they had no clue what was happening.
I was hoping the same thing, and I am truly sorry it ended this way. May Whisper and Sandra rest in peace and may they continue to be remembered with love. Her brother and mother were spot on the whole time. If there's anything to be thankful for, it's that she got in a good visit with family members who loved her on her last day on Earth. JMHO.Came here to say ; Rest in gentle peace, Whisper and baby Sandra !!
What a sad, awful ending.
I was hoping she'd just been hanging out with friends and forgot to contact anyone.
Or needed some time to herself, away from everyone for a bit.
My utmost condolences to her worried family.![]()
