This woman supposed to have black hair, (could it have been partially gray?) but There could be a huge gap in time (and memory) from the time she went missing (January 1969) and was listed as missing in Namus (2009) Could it be Questa Leone Burns. No picture available. Missing Person Case

Tried to find more about her and found this. Could this be her? Age fits approx.

THOMAS B BURNS SR married QUESTA LEONE FRAETIS in St Paul MN in 1946. QUESTA was born in Southgate, CA in 1921. Little is known of her family except for her mother, EDITH M PITT FRAETIS BRADFORD and her only brother, ELDEN "RED" FRAETIS.
Info from this website THOMAS BURNS 1761 Pg. 1 of 2

Also this gives more of a background. Questa Burns

It's possible that she was alive in 2002, but it's hard to be sure. Then of course this UID isn't her.

It's a five hours drive, but Santa Cruz and Southgate are both near the sea. Could the current brought her from Southgate to Santa Cruz?

I wonder where the injection marks on left arm and hip are from...insulin, drugs? Does somebody know when/why people inject in the hip?

I would assume drugs (e.g. heroin), since there were marks both on the arm and hip.

Could someone please make a visual comparison of Margaret to Jane Doe? She was an "extreme alcoholic" who disappeared from Washington state in 1962. She has ties to Nevada having lived there some years before she went missing. I wonder if she somehow made her way to CA then ended up diagnosed with diabetes or hooked on heroin? I find her forehead, nose and the space between her eyes resemble JD's features.

Have you considered submitting Patricia? This is a poor quality pic, but imo her forehead and nose look similar to Jane Doe.

Questa doesn't have a pic but the stats and circumstances make her a good PM, imo.

I still think the lost & the found site was a good initiative. I liked how it operated and sometimes I use it still, they have the identifiers in it. A petty it didn't made it.

Jane Doe has a very prominent nose, Margaret seems to have that too, but there is light spot on her nose that takes away the contours partly. JD's upper lip is thinner (that happens if you get older) M has the same effect. Nose and lips ratio are quite the same. M's eyes and eyebrows seem different to me, more round, compact. It's all very hard to see. I couldn't find another picture of her. Margaret is in Namus, nothing on the identifiers in the Doe Network file, so that's a question mark.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Margaret would be on the younger site of the age range (49 yrs in 1969) No reason to rule her out on that. She had dark brown hair (curly not stated, could be a perm) I'm not sure how quickly one can get gray. A period of 7 years went by, so I guess that's possible.

I found this on Questa. I don't understand how I could have missed that when I came up with her.

Questa Burns
In 2002, one of Questa’s family members got lucky. She spoke with someone at the Social Security Administration, who confirmed that Questa was still living. (How often does THAT happen?) They obviously wouldn’t give her any other details. She would have been 81 years old at that time – so now she’d be 91-92. I’d say the chances of her still being alive have diminished some since 2002, although it’s very possible that she could be.

The image of the UID shows someone who appears much older than the age parameters listed. She definitely looks like she could be in her late 70s. I'm concerned about her being completely nude. She had injection sites on her hip and arm. That doesn't sound like drug addiction to me. It sounds like she may have been under a doctor's care and had injections in her hip for pain relief associated with osteoarthritis or other types of degenerative conditions. Is it possible she was in some sort of care facility?

It's not uncommon for drowning victims to be stripped of all or most of their clothing by the action of the water, especially if they were wearing loose clothing.
