Lol, you too? I fell off the top bunk when I was five, monkeying around when I should have been sleeping.
We don't have access to DOE ? Why not?
I wish Shaleigh would be found. That's such a pretty name. I think it's a version of " Sheilagh", which is said to be Gaelic for " from the Faery castle".

Bunk beds in a department store, no less, while our parents shopped for furniture. Older sib knew how to climb up & down the ladder. Youngest sib only knew how to climb up....

I’m stumped, can’t find anything, the only thing I could find was her mother maiden name was Steele.

It’s has been so long , and We know she is gone , there had been a couple leads in the 90’s and early 2000s her parents had to take dna tests for bodies found in the area , no results and her father died of cancer in 2009 and her mother re married a Dr in Lake Tahoe.

I hope Shaliegh's family will soon have answers. How very sad for a 12-year-old to be considered a runaway. Either she was abducted before reaching her friends or she intentionally went somewhere where a dangerous person was, right? Either way, endangered from the start, not a runaway.

Read in another thread that her disappearance is connected to other disappearances and murdered girls in the area by Ezra Adams. Though don’t think he was convicted of any. Have you heard of this connection?
