Yes, he has been cleared apparently. It's in several previous posts.

The HUSBAND has been. Some people have mentioned an ex husband.

Perhaps they did get permission from landowners. All police can search without a warrant in emergencies or Exigent Circumstances they call it. So that would include lost child in eminent danger and perhaps endangered adult. I think it would be limited to what could be used to hide them. You could not look in drawers or computers.

Right, but in this case the cops are being wishy washy on whether she ran off voluntarily, wanted to hide out for awhile, took an unplanned vacation, fell and got hurt, has a secret boyfriend, was possibly abducted.......etc. In other words, they are plainly stating that they have no idea what may have happened to her. That pretty much nullifies the urgency you are referring to.

I recognize we are not allowed to sleuth him (for good reason!)....

But I wonder if LE has cleared the ex-husband?

bbm

Are you sure that you are talking about her EX-husband, from whom she reportedly was divorced in 2007-2008?

did the husband say he often doesn't bring his cell to work?

Makes me wonder if he's in law enforcement or works in a jail where you "can't" take your cell phone in.

How do you pay, say, a plumber who comes to your home?
Credit card. I give them the number before the worker's even arrive. However, we have lived in the same place for 24 years. Everyone we call we have used before and trust them.
Most people I know have a checkbook, but don’t routinely carry it.
If I can't use a card, I have to go get cash or a cashier's check/money order. I don't even have a single check now.
Probably nothing, but it stood out to me. I forget she has young kids and may pay for daycare by check. Those days are long gone for me.

He does not work in a jail. What he does has been mentioned, but I'm not sure if the source is allowed to be quoted and I don't want to break any rules.

My latest feeling is "hoax." I could be so far off, but it would explain quite a bit, right?

The EX-husband of SP?

I know KP has been cleared...

But I don't recall the EX-husband being cleared...

JMO...

Thank you in advance...

Just a few questions I am trying to make sense of.
*10:37 she texted her husband to ask if he was coming home for lunch. I wonder why she even sent him a text when he usually leaves his phone in the car. She would know he does not bring his phone into work....
* Why would she stop in the middle of wrapping a gift and go for a run? Maybe before she began wrapping or maybe after she's done wrapping then going for a run makes sense but to not even finish wrapping it.....

I still don't get why he doesn't take his cell phone in to work at a Best Buy. [emoji53]. Especially when you have kids.

Funny, I wondered the same thing this morning. Something is just very off for me. Can't quite put my finger on it yet.

Best Buy has a policy of no cell phones at the customer's home while working to protect a customer's personal privacy.

Lol. I gotta start reading threads through before posting. I get impatient. [emoji53]

That link referred to here does not come through for me...

Actually the link appears... But the print below the head line is blanked out...

He can't take into people's homes when he is working. Its an issue of privacy and not being distracted while he is working.

I don't know what to think about the husband. He seems sincerely grief-stricken, but as another poster suggested, it could be a flood of emotions brought on by guilt and remorse or something of that nature.

I don't know why but something is niggling me in the back of my mind about her phone. He used the "find my iPhone" feature? Who does that? I would think most people would be calling up friends and relatives and police first. It seems odd to me. I guess if he'd placed calls extensively first (did he?) it would be a smart thing to check. But it kinda feels like he was looking for her phone, not necessarily her.

Also, could he have used that feature to explain away his footprints or other evidence in the area her phone was "found"?

I truly hope he has nothing to do with this but I feel a bit uneasy about the whole thing.

The find phone app would be very fast to find where she was, let's say sometimes she took the kids next door to neighbors to visit maybe he didn't want to call and interrupt , maybe he thought they could be out back. It shouldn't cause alarm.
It seems I seen where the sheriffs office logs had a call about a woman who was in the area that morning that a man said she looked like she had been in a fight and refused any help from the man but requested that LE do a welfare check. Was there ever any follow up on that?

It is likely policy!
Perhaps BB does not want employees taking personal calls or texts while in a customer's home
Personally, I am sick of trying to do business in between people's texts and calls

It's a home the theatre specialist. Installs home theatres in people's homes. He doesn't work at an actual Best Buy!
