I agree. She is probably a natural blonde with highlights. FWIW I can’t go more than 3 weeks or so without having to get my graying roots done. It really hurts for me to write that...
I think that even if we had pictures of her when she was released, a discussion on how visible her roots are would likely lead nowhere. 1 - we don't know how quickly her hair grows. 2 - Very light eyebrows generally indicate even lighter natural hair. So 3 - we don't even know that she dyes her hair or highlights it, or to what extent.

My niece has been dying her hair since early high school and no one has any idea what her natural color is. Like me, she was blonde as a child, but I am no longer blonde. So even finding old pictures of SP would not be of much use to figure that out. In fact, now that I think about it, even I dyed my hair a few times in middle school, and I'm not really into all that. So this is just going to remain an unknown.

KP said she was battered practically beyond recognition and had a broken nose and injuries everywhere. So why not a head injury? Of course being released within hours doesn't lend itself to that theory. Neither does the lack of a statement by LE about a brain injury and resultant memory problems. You're right.

KP did.

Do roots grow out in 22 days?

BBM
Licensed Master Cosmetologist here.
Yes, new growth will start showing around that time but it also depends on how fast your hair grows. Hair grows from 1/4 - 1/2 inch a month and depending on how dark the natural colour is also a factor in determining if the new growth is visible, in my experience.

In the pics of her from her sisters wedding, she def has dark hair. You can also tell from the recent pics the DM posted of her picking up the kids from daycare. But it really doesn’t matter and isn’t going to help solve anything IMO

Root touch ups are generally every 4-6 weeks from what I read. It depends on how fast your hair grows.

a good weave can last up to 8 weeks, depending on mixture of colors.

Not doubting you but I can't find these pictures with dark hair. I did find a childhood picture where she has extremely light blonde hair. This changes as we grow, but I suspect she's still in the blonde range.

KP said the bridge of her nose was broken. LE never said that. Matt Gutman (ABC News) said on Good Morning America something to the effect that SP was battered beyond recognition (can't remember the exact words). Allison Sutton says Sherri "didn't look hurt, but she did look scared."

So many contradictions.

Another one: Sutton said SP was not dressed for the chilly weather. "She was out in the cold in a tee shirt," she said. But LE say she was in a sweatshirt. Maybe she was in a sweat shirt cut off at the sleeves, but you'd think LE would have mentioned that.

As far as anything AS said, I wouldn't put much stock in it. She never stopped her car, and she drove by SP at 70+ mph in the dark. She really wouldn't have been able to see anything except a nondescript figure making some movement. AS, I believe, filled in details and embellished a bit. Not saying she wasn't well meaning. But when you're being hounded for interviews, you want to be as helpful as you can.

We also don't know if she does dye it, when she last dyed it. She could have well just dyed it that morning, that doesn't mean she had it dyed while in captivity. I'm a non believer but I don't hold out any hope that her roots would tell us anything.

Hey, I got my hair done but right before, you might think I had been in captivity for a few weeks :giggle: :blushing: Dark humor, sorry :)

That’s why I’m all about bayalage lol it doesn’t look as bad as highlights when I’m 5 months overdue for a hair appointment [emoji13]

Lol... *off I go to google it :online: :floorlaugh:

My opinion is that Sherri dyed the underside of her hair brown at one point. My daughter has light hair and she does this from time to time. You pull the top layer up and clip it and then you dye the bottom layer. You can't really tell when your hair is down, but you can see it in braids or ponytails/pigtails. There's a pic somewhere of Sherri and her sister (I think) and she has her hair braided and you can tell. Younger people do this with blue, pink, purple, too. Heck, my friend's daughter has rainbow layers.

Yes. She seems to have very light eyebrows, and eyebrows tend to generally be darker than our natural hair color anyway, so I assume she does actually have fairly light natural hair. I'm not even sure we should be assuming she dyes it. She may just highlight it or something. I don't think it would be very noticeable.

My hairdresser lightens eyebrows for people while she is dyeing their hair.

Just saw this on the MSN home webpage ... nothing that we don't already know here, just interesting that it was front page news.

Who Is the Mystery Michigan Man Sherri Papini Was Texting With in the Days Before Her Abduction?

...
Last week, police disclosed that during their early investigation into her disappearance, they discovered that Papini, now 35, had been texting a male acquaintance from Detroit, Michigan just days before she went missing.
...

There are numerous stories out there dating from November 29th, 2016 that says the Sheriff confirmed the injuries that Keith mentioned.

:seeya:

BBM: Yes, I remember LE confirming some of KP's statements ... But I want to see ALL the evidence regarding ALL of these injuries.

 Is there a photo of SP taken a day or two, or even a week, before she was "abducted" ? Would like to see what she look like prior to this "abduction."

 The P's luv to take photos of themselves -- or rather very dramatic photos of themselves ... so just wondering ... would like to see IF there were any injuries prior to the abduction ...

All :moo:

Criminal profiler Pat Brown has a picture of SP and family a day or two before the disappearance. They're in Halloween costumes. KP and one of the children have bandannas over part of their faces. Indeed.

:seeya: Question here:

IIRC, Sutton only saw here in clothes not appropriate for cold weather ... so did Sutton mention in her interview that she saw any restraints or chains ?

TIA!

A New York Daily News article she says "Sutton said she couldn't tell if Papini was wearing any restraints when she saw her." I'm not including the link because I don't think that's considered MSM here.

I wonder what "partially clothed" meant?
Normally when a body is found partially clothed, we find out either shirt or pants are missing or pants are pulled down, etc.
Sweatshirt (shirt) and sweatpants (pants) doesn't fit my idea of partially clothed, I guess.
Maybe she was barefoot?
Just one more thing that has changed over time in this story. MOO, IMO, etc.

He said officials found DNA from two people on Papini — that of a man and a woman. Jackson said authorities collected the woman's DNA from Papini's body, while the man's was found on the clothes she wore when found.

I know there has been a lot of discussion about the man's DNA and how it could have been transferred from anywhere.
Its just strange to me that there was not DNA from two women on her/ clothing
She spent 22 days with two women. How is there no DNA from a second woman? Nothing on her shoes?
Was the other woman never near her, never in the vehicle?
