Hi everyone. I saw this forum mentioned on The Redding crime Facebook page and have been following Sherri's case through local media.

Something that I've thought about a lot is her husbands employer- Best Buy- its a huge drug hub. Buying, selling, trading. Meeting at the church next door for deals etc. I heard that her husband was an installer. Does anyone know if he a home installer or did he work in the back for vehicle installing?

I ask because my sister worked Geek Squad and died of an overdose back in Aug. By going through her phone we found her supplier, a co-worker from the install dept.( NOT Keith just to make that clear) but we've learned a lot about Best Buy since her death. We've called corporate to report what we know...

It concerns me because addicts will do anything for the next fix. Did a co-worker know of something in their house that they could steal and sell? Money stashed? Maybe they didn't expect Sherri to be home?

It's another reason that her phone could have been tossed like it was. Best Buy employees would know about technology and how her husband could have tracked it.

Thank you for joining this discussion and shining some light into the darkness. I'm very sorry that it was your sister's death that turned on the light. Please accept my condolences. I had a friend die this year and the drug was alcohol. I still wonder how I missed what was happening. He was a master at disguising and never reached for help.

I did a Google search for drug bust shasta county 2016. Meth, Heroin, and Marijuana appear to the the current drugs of choice for the area.

Well that explains a LOT!
I won't go into details, it has nothing to do with this case.
This is exactly what I needed to see tonight.

Hello all, new to this, and not sure if its been covered already.. but it seems that the kids where in daycare for a period of time during the day, so she could get some things done. But also states, that hubby returned home each day with members of family greeting him. Leading one to believe maybe she dropped them off in morning, and picked up early afternoon maybe possibly later afternoon. My question is, why did daycare not contact hubby about a no show? Not sure how it works with their child care provider, however mine had my number, hubby number, and relatives number. On their paperwork, it stated if you did not show within one hour of pick up, they would reach every contact on the list, if still no show by closing, they would call the police to take the children or possibly DYFS.. I just find it odd that daycare was not calling hubby as a contact with the children not picked up... I am not sure what could explain that.. but it does seem odd to me. I know Keith has been cleared.. but still seems off.. or at the very least careless by provider

Do we know what time the kids were supposed to be picked up? When KP called day care, someone was there to answer the phone, so was that person waiting with only SP/KP's children and everyone gone for the day? Or were they just not picked up by the time SP usually picked up?

I will add to my earlier thoughts ... there have been MANY times that I've had an unshakeable hunch about a case, in spite of the evidence suggesting otherwise, and in the end I was right. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to why we form an opinion, it can't be explained rationally. It's a million unspoken, subconscious little things that just add up. Other times, we're proven wrong. Cases can throw you for a loop sometimes. But I've learned to trust my instincts, I got them from my dad ... retired Phoenix PD. ;)

It didn't seem like they were doing anything in the KB and CDC case in SC either but they were onto a serial killer.

It would be helpful to have the actual names of the cases instead of the initials. Tough know what you are referencing, but it sounds interesting and I would look it up if I knew... ;)

In one of the responses by Sherri's sister on the FIndSherri FB page, her sister stated that the kids were in daycare for 1/2 days a couple of days per week. Take it with a grain of salt since it can only be considered rumor. However, I trust it, personally. JMO

I have thought the same thing from the get go! Someone she knew and trusted abducted her! Also, the daycare situation.....I had 2 young children, lived in the country, and wanted to give them some socialization before they entered school. It was a great experience for them and helped them grow and prepare them! If I remember correctly it was 2 to 3 times a week for a few hours.

I understand we cannot sleuth KP here, and I'm in no way accusing him of anything, but only MSM are using words like "cleared". Sheriff said things like it appears he's telling the truth and there's no physical evidence at this time he's involved.

What I'm most curious about is why the searching stopped. In every possible scenario, except voluntarily missing, it seems like the search should have lasted longer.

I've only followed a handful of cases here, I think I first found websleuths when Sierra Lamar went missing. Have there been other cases where the searching was ended so quickly, with no body found? I'm hoping the lack of search means they have reason to believe she's alive somewhere. That would explain some of the things Keith has said in his interviews.

I hope she's makes it home soon.
I think they found something, and someone to watch. <modsnip>

Right now, I think I that's exactly what's going on. I hope and pray she is alive somewhere, but I'm starting to think she was for a few days but isn't anymore. <modsnip>

Steelman posted this map on the last tthread and asked if it had been searched on foot. I can't tell the distance on the map, but there was a three mile grid search done according to this linked article. I agree that the area outlined in pink on the map should be searched on foot if it hasn't been.

If you look at the log that goes with the map, a caller says to look down Golden Eye, I feel that is another possible area

Thanks Skibaboo for the map too!

I've been on hiatus for 6 days and come back to 491 new posts. And no new updates. Is that right? (Full disclosure - did not read 491 posts.) Can I get a gimme just this one time, please?

OT
Since there is nothing new to add in this case, and I have nothing to rehash, either, I would like to say that the correct word for us is sleuths, not sleuthers. We are Websleuths, not Websleuthers. Minutely minor point in the big picture, I agree, but........................ Okay, stone me. 🙂

You know what just crossed my mind? This reminds me of the Rachel Cooke case in alot of ways. She was home from California, went jogging in Georgetown, tx and has not been seen since.

That case came to mind as well. There were many witnesses that saw Rachel Cooke jogging that day.

LE is keeping tight-lipped. Nothing new has been released.

Disclaimer: JMO
However, I personally was speculating that I believe they have an abductor in their sights. Now, to find out where that person has been until the last 24 hours or so, and find Sherri. X your fingers!

I agree - I think LE has someone in their sights.
