OT
Since there is nothing new to add in this case, and I have nothing to rehash, either, I would like to say that the correct word for us is sleuths, not sleuthers. We are Websleuths, not Websleuthers. Minutely minor point in the big picture, I agree, but........................ Okay, stone me. [emoji846]

I stand corrected. It was sort of a made up word. No stoning allowed.

Did yall see this? This is the same day the checkbook was found isn't it?
This is from the police log attached to skibaboo's map.

Sorry, CC, I really wasn't replying to you. Many, many posters use the term and it has always causes me distress, so since there was a lull in the discussion I just saw an opportunity to mention it. 🙂

I am not able to read it when open it. It's too small for my eyes. Wow, they have raised a ton of money on the gofund me page. I don't think I've ever seen that amount (41,849.00) raised for any missing person.

No worries. I know I am guilty of it. And I write for a living! Lol!

Doors yes...my windows are open about six inches, then locked in that position

Spoken like a true Websleuths woman...and you still have those so cute cat pics..:)

It would be helpful to have the actual names of the cases instead of the initials. Tough know what you are referencing, but it sounds interesting and I would look it up if I knew... ;)

KB is being referred to by her initials per mod request as it's quite possible she could be a victim of sex assault (we don't use real names unless the survivor has identified his/herself as such in MSM). It's a South Carolina case in which she and her boyfriend went missing a couple of months ago. She was recently found alive in a storage/shipping container on the property belonging to Todd Kohlhepp. There's a whole sub-forum here devoted to the case as he has been linked to 7 murders. The boyfriend, sadly, was murdered.

Not trying to hijack Sherri's thread...just explaining why initials are often used.

Which police log is that? (Which log?) ETA: I mean, which day? Gosh. I've been looking at the screen too long.

Sorry I shamed people.....not my intention......as I used "sleuther" initially even though it sounded wrong to me. It's a perfectly fine name

If it is at all possible that Sherri was taken by the same person or sort of person who is likely to have taken Heather McDonald in Georgia , i think his strength will eventually become a weakness/handicap, because he is methodical; although he plans well, the regularity of his method is likely to give him away. If that makes sense.

There are so many similarities that it is startling. Also in regards to cases like LISK. The internet has completely changed the rules of their "games".

Things like GPS and social media unfortunately increase the range of a serial killer.

But you can still observe the MO and correlate a ton of info thanks to the Internet.

God bless & GL.

Just a suggestion - you might want to crop this and repost because across the top all your other open tabs are visible.

Oh no, I didn't feel shamed. I learned something lol. Just wish I'd known before using it in my name and wish I could change it.
