Maybe he's Impersonating a mailman to get her out of the house

I have seen someone who makes me nervous talk about working as a driver for UPS.

While I am not saying it is him - but - a situation where someone pretends to be a delivery person could have been how they gained access to Sherri. She wouldnt be worried about someone in a uniform coming to her door if he was delivering something.

Or IS the mailman. He would see Sherri everyday, know when she jogged, when she came home without kids, know when husband was gone.

Could pull truck into her driveway w/o raising suspicion. She would open the door for him...

I would hope there is GPS tracking on all USPS vehicles, since they are Federal Government. Anyone know?

I really don't know how to read/interpret the Sheriff's Office daily logs, but wondered if this was relevant.

On Nov 3 related to a follow up - 13490 Sundust Road:

"2ND RP ADV SHE WAS AT EYEBROW STORE AT MT SHASTA MALL APX 1245-1330 HRS AND SAW SUBJ THAT LOOKED JUST LIKE MP, PUT NAME ON WAITING LIST THEN WENT NEXT DOOR TO CHILDRENS STORE"

Did someone already mention this in an earlier post? Does it refer to this case? If it was SP it would fill in one item on the timeline.

This was discussed way back. It appears that there are community mailboxes in this rural area. It was her habit to run there and that is very near where her phone was found.

I will post the pic again.

Especially if she was doing so much business through UPS or USPS. I don't know how easy it is to get a uniform but I believe this is a possibility. Or flower delivery or lost motorist who needed directions, someone posing as a utility worker, etc. there are a lot of possibilities.

I don't know. But maybe he goes about his business, transfers her off to someone else? Nothing looks off regarding his delivery schedule. Then she's driven out of area?

Farfetched, I know. Just thinking of different scenarios.

That reminds me. On one of the sheriff's logs I saw that a woman had reported harrassment/possible stalking (?) by a tree trimmer in the area. The log states that the woman believed that he goes into her back yard while she's not home. That rang a bell because I remember her husband saying that some tree trimmers had reported seeing her. I'll see if I can find the log.

I was wondering (commented in 2nd thread) whether there were mailboxes such as these throughout the area since it's somewhat rural. Maybe she was watching/listening for the mail truck while she was wrapping the flag pillow, got distracted, stop wrapping and went to check the mail or perhaps hand a package to the mailman? Since she sells items on Poshmark she may have things set up where USPS will pickup so she foes to have to go into town or wherever drop-off is located. MOO

Did anyone already comment on this Sheriff daily log item (Nov 12; pg 2)

the reporting person said they were a friend of the missing person and were calling on behalf of someone who didn't want to have contact with the LEO. Received information that "listed male" was holding a female against her wished in a shed/container.

(Sheesh, doesn't this sound like the Kohlhepp case?)

Sorry if this was already posted. I don't have time to catch up!

We live in a rural area in California. Our mail delivery is set up just like the photo. There are oversized boxes for large packages. They stick the key to the box in with your mail. If the package is too large for that box, they leave a slip and you have pick up at the PO. These routes are rural contracts, trust me, the delivery person is not going to go out of his way for you.
