Is the case ftom 1998 still open? Can it be posted there, since it's relevant to another case?

Wonder if Sherri knew something about that 1998 case that could implicate someone ? jmo

When I went to the post there were 197 comments. Could you post the initials of the person(s) and time they were posted? I know the times shown will be from different zones but sometimes it helps.

I can't get over how many people post nothing other than "shared" or "prayers."

Can't get back there right now, fb is blocked here at work. Just look at the longer posts and click on profiles. You will find a few. Mostly expanded comments on the most recent posts.

Not sure if you were addressing the above post to me so sorry if butting in. This morning I posted and asked the moderator if I could post info about the suspect of a MP case from 1998. The case has openly been discussed as being very similar to SP's. My post has sense been deleted and I haven't received a response from the moderator so will obviously not post the info. I want to clarify that I DO NOT have anything that would specifically link the 1998 case to this one. It was just basic info such as location, workplace, etc... Thought you all mght want to plug in some location points on your map...that's all. My greatest apologies if I've caused a problem...

I agree. I hope they already did. If I was her family and saw a possible lead like that on the police log I'd be demanding they bring out the scent dogs- cadaver dogs too.

I have just read through the 198 comments that show on my end and haven't seen anything that grabbed my attention.

OT random: then you haven't seen enough dog rescue threads on FB. Those are the epitome of useless comments.

Not to speak for the OP, but he./she was responding to my post in which I stated that I think the FBI saw this as a murder or abduction right away. rather than a suicide or runaway. Really nothing to do with the husband at all. ( He is destroyed by this, and is a victim here, jmo).

Exactly. The suicide and runaway theory have been tossed back and forth exhaustively here, so I've tentatively ruled it out in my mind. That leaves two other possible scenarios, and LE have been reluctant to call it an abduction...I believe they have their reasons for hesitation.

That said, I don't owe anyone an explanation for what I believe here. We are all trying our best to get to the bottom of a very difficult case with miniscule information. <modsnip>

Your post has NOT been deleted. I just saw it.

You are allowed to post *anything* that appears in MSM. You are not allowed to 'sleuth' anyone who hasn't been named as a suspect.

So if you have something interesting, and it appears in MSM or an official source, then just say 'this is interesting' and a quote. We can all draw our own conclusions.

Just thought I'd point out that this thread was shut down for a time last night because members were sleuthing people from a tweet. I don't think Facebook comments are different.

I also believe that if there is something on the public log specific to the disappearance, then it has already been determined to be not related by LE.

I have been experiencing chronic problems on this site. Screen is Freezing and freezes all my windows. Now today intermittent sound is coming from my speakers. I have deleted all my cookies and cache and run malware detection and av and there is nothing wrong with my computer.

I can add the same thing where I'm having to view this site on phone mode on my desktop computer and even then it was crashing my computer where I then had to make additional changes. For me anyway, it appeared to be the videos on the page that upset my computer.

Hard to say. I believe LE themselves has even said they're being tight-lipped on the evidence they have, like they will only talk about the phone. I do think whatever LE has, LE isn't publicly disclosing it and that it's more than just the phone.
