Has anyone come forward and said Sherri visited them that afternoon?

We wouldn't know if they had and if it was the perp, I doubt they would come forward

5'4" and 100 lbs? Is that a typo in the description? because that would be in clinical anorexic range. Not being critical - honest question. If it's real, she might have gotten disoriented and fainted somewhere, or maybe it offers insight into psychology.

I didn't know Sherri was divorced. Do we know anything about her exhusband?

Both sightings appear legit in that neither has been publicly discounted, which is why people such as myself are getting hung up on that where that it's hard to know what's accurate. Either or both of the those doing the sightings could have made an honest mistake when reporting to LE. Unless the 2 PM sighting is based on clear and close-up video - which so far we've heard that LE doesn't have video of her - it could be human error (same with the 11 AM sighting).

Apparently the 2pm sighting is legit: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/show/35943

snipped...

This is why I was having trouble placing the sighting(s) I like to be as accurate as possible but the info is confusing.

'In the area near Sunrise Drive and Sundust Road, near Oregan Trail'. Casa Drive is between Sunset and Sundust, why no mention of there?

I doubt it, I'm 5'8" and 115, but healthy but slim. I ride a bike a lot, and eat a lot too, just cannot gain weight when I'm active.

Actually, her weight was discussed at length previously, at least the psychology part. It's probably wise not to start that up again. A search for anorexia or weight on previous threads will help explain why. It's a sensitive subject, but you have no way of knowing that, so no worries. :)

Becoming dehydrated and disoriented can happen to anyone of any weight. If she ran off road and fainted beyond the three mile grid search line, it's possible. We had another thread about a tiny runner recently. Fortunately she was found after about three days, quite dehydrated and disoriented. Interestingly, geeks were able to look at the watch she left home and determine from the GPS areas she had run before. The family said she never ran off road, but she had. That's where she was found.

In what situation would you ever need your ID?

In the area I used to live two people died while jogging, in two separate incidents, and were not identified for a couple of days

Hi everyone!

I've noticed some posts referring to Todd Kohlhepp's most recent victim.

As per Admin tlcya in the Kohlhepp forum:

Because this victim was held for months and is lucky to be alive, we have opted not to use her full name. Please refer to this young woman by her initials.

Discussing the possibility of Sherri being held in a similar way is fine, but if you do, please just use that victim's initials KB rather than her full name.

Thanks :)

Re: the theory of unknown perps targeting women who exercise. .. this happened to my aunt in Maryland about 10-15 years ago.

She carried protection etc but because she didn't know the names of the guys jeering out the truck windows and exposing their privates to her (so frustrating), she ended up having to move.

I should have quoted the user on previous page who brought this up. It's excellent because even a transient or commuter etc can come back by to harass joggers and cyclists once they know the victim's schedule.

So frustrated by these cases where LE seems slow or inconsistent. Also i hate the whole "us vs them" feel of it.

That's why i should only focus on one case at a time and not let this stuff piss me off... it's the system not the individuals who disappoint me.

<modsnip>

Sorry. I'm feeling sort of reactionary today probably just PMS.

Trying to find the garbage pick up schedule for her neighborhood and having a hard time. Does anybody know her address? Or does anyone know how to get the pick up schedule for the mountaingate area? I'm trying to see if the garbage man came the day she went missing. There is a past case where a woman was raped and murdered and it turned out to be the garbage man. Just exploring our options.

That's crazy. I was 5'5 and weighed 103 to 110 most of my life and I was not ever anorexic. Some of us are small cute girls, ha ha

Avid runners and any outdoor endurance athletes are aware of alternate IDs to carry on your person instead of a formal ID. There is Road ID, here is a picture of one example of the bands they sell. I have one that attaches to the shoe lace of my shoe.

My husband has the type that attaches to the shoe as well. Handy because it includes info about his medical conditions.

The bracelet type, I've heard, is most secure. A paramedic friend told me of *two* instances where a runner was struck by a vehicle with such force that one or both shoes were lost upon impact (not that they had Road IDs). Fortunately, both runners recovered.

During his search of the house, Keith says he found a partially wrapped present addressed to him from his wife and two kids. “She must have been wrapping her presents,” he says. “It is like an American flag pillow that she more than likely she made it. It wasn’t here when I left, so I know that she must have been working on that.”

Quote from the People article...

This may have been mentioned already.... but how many of you would stop wrapping mid-present? Not me for sure, I might leave paper and gifts out, but I wouldn't stop mid-present. Weird... JMO

I got to thinking and in the description of her that day (which I am assuming came from the credible sightings of her) her hair was in a pony tail. I am trying to figure out how hair would have become tangled in the ear buds?

In a struggle her hair could have been all over the place.

I'm trying too. Even knowing the address isn't helping though.

I do not think Sherri has an eating disorder. I have lived with 2 people that have and both did not look healthy. Skin and hair is a dead give-away and Sherri looks very healthy. Also in her pics she is consistently thin. There doesn't seem to he a struggle to stay that way. So while she may be clinically underweight (as lots are off the charts either end and still healthy) I do not think she is unhealthy physically or mentally from an eating disorder or nutritional deficiencies.
