Looks like meeting was on Sundust rd not Sunrise where SP lives. Why go back to the neighbors house who lives behind SP? Could they have been searching her property again? 3 hrs is a long time. Why no KP at meeting? Sister and mother were there.

The Papinis residence is on Sundust Road.

I fear that LE may turn it's focus on finding Sherri to the anonymous person that offered the reward.

Has the family denounced that site as of yet.

As they should, imo. Kind of hinky setting up a phone number/email asking for leads?! So now people are going to contact that rather than the proper authorities?

Sends off alarm bells for me. I hope it gets shut down
Jmo.

Oh I agree. I just hope it doesn't take the focus off of finding Sherri.

Which makes me think...anything is possible. Could this the person who has Sherri and was hoping the family would match his reward with the 🤬🤬🤬.
He makes money and returns Sherri?
A way out there though...but who knows?
Imho

Maybe it's a generational thing? The younger don't seem to mind because they grew up with more technology and it's commonplace? My husband's got an app on his phone that sends him messages every time the garage goes up and down. I get the usefulness, but it does annoy me a little bit that he knows exactly when I'm leaving and when I arrive home. I've got nothing to hide and we've been happily married for 24 years.
Me too! On our security app my husband can see when I open and close doors or if I didn't close the door behind me.

I'm north of 45 so I don't know what age bracket you consider when saying it. The couples I know that use it are my age up (some a tad younger) into their mid 60s
The vast majority of my neighborhood uses outdoor security cameras and the ones that don't were the first ones to knock on our doors when the teenagers started breaking in to cars and asking for our recordings. It's just life now and I like it. But then, I'm not opposed to big brother if it keeps my family, my friends and my country safe. So maybe it's less age related and more personality driven.

I have the same alarm app that notifies us of anything in our alarm system, including the garage doors. Saves me from having to send the are you home yet/have you left yet texts...I'm a fan

Has the family denounced that site as of yet.

They've spoken neither for nor against it. They've just acknowledged that it's there and said they aren't affiliated with it.

I noticed that the letter has changed and the phone number is different.

I saw that as well.

Inserting my reaction to the weird ransom payment offer situation.... Random and creepy. Bizarre.

The FIL spoke of it in a positive way, and Keith said he met with the people in charge, so I took that to be in support of it. Otherwise wouldn't he ask them not to do it or make a statement distancing himself from it?

Where is Sherri?

Actually Keith's step dad said it is a legitimate offer.

So. Whatta ya'll got?

In no certain order:

1. Abducted by person known to her; still alive
2. Abducted by person known to her; now deceased
3. Abducted by unknown party; still alive
4. Abducted by unknown party; now deceased
5. Still running, away from domesticity
6. Jog a red herring; killed beforehand
7. Hit by car; driver fled scene with body
8. Suicide; body undiscovered
9. Hoax

What am I leaving out? And what do you think?

I find it troubling that they say they aren't working with LE, but they want leads sent to them. If they did get a legitimate lead, they could make a pig's breakfast out of it if not get her killed if she is still alive. As far as I can tell the 'negotiator' isn't a licensed PI authorized to privately conduct a criminal investigation.

Unfortunately I think 2 or 4. Praying neither is the case.

Left out voluntarily disappeared. This would be the best outcome. While I am leaning more towards abduction, I haven't totally ruled this out.

Could they owe someone money?

That was my unnecessarily clever-worded #5. Me too on hoping that's the case.

#7 is growing on me (unfortunately).
